This story is amazing. I hope those two get together (mrs. lovett and sweeney)

This was so good! You managed to I've it an ending that was bittersweet rather then completely tragic- as close as these guys could ever get to happily ever after.

I enjoyed these last two chapters, though I agree with a few other of your reviewers . . . there is a sense of completion, in that Turpin is dead, but on the other hand . . . you wrote that whole bit about how Todd no longer has a purpose, he doesn't know what he's going to do with the rest of his life, and it was an absolutely lovely piece of writing. But the question hasn't really been answered: what IS he going to do now? You could certainly leave it up to our imaginations, but . . . well, I'd like a bit more closure. Besides, there's still the matter of Lucy to be cleared up (or not cleared up, I suppose, ha). And I'd really like to see some sort of tie-in to the way you started this fic, what with the 'metronome' of Todd and Lovett's lives . . . is it still going to be present? Or has it vanished?

There were quite a few typos in chapter ten, by the way . . . if you want, I could go back and find them, because I forgot to write them down . . . mostly silly things like not capitalizing names and such.

Well, even if you don't add another chapter, I still really enjoyed reading this fic! Thanks for sharing it with us. )

I kinda want you to do a small, little chapter to wrap it all up with. I know that this kinda ends it, but...I still feel as though there needs to be a chapter about how they get on! I mean, just a sorta end, maybe set a year in the future. I would really appreciate that!

This is a beautiful ending to a well-thought out story. I like how by changing one small detail, you changed the whole outcome in a very realistic way. Bravo!

Your writing is very evocative without being overly detailed, and your dialouge reads quite fluently.

Besides, I am totally in love with the image of all of them going to have tea after the deed is done. Very british.

The only teeny tiny thing that you might want to look over are the two or three typos that sneaked in, but all in all, this whole thing has been a real treat! Well done!

I read a fan-fiction called Metronome... And it was beautiful... (Haha, couldn't resist.)

And now, for something completely different.

_ Personally, I like one-shots: The Author doesn't have a chance to mess up on characters or their talking or anything of that sort. They act upon what is there, and that is it.

Multi-chaptered stories are good, usually before or after the plot of the movie/manga/book it's about. If it's during the plot, usually an OC has to be involved to smooth things over, so it isn't noticed the author has little/no grasp of the character's mind-set...

But good sir/ma'am, you've managed to make an AMAZING embellishment on the existing plot, without damaging characters or just having it suck. You obviously understand (or make up, whatever work for you XD) what is happening in each person's mind, and the plot is made of win.

All in all, the scouter says... It's OVER NINE-THOUSAND!
