Daisy1966 chapter 4 . 7/12/2013 Ah...It is no wonder the lab was never the same. I can see vividly how each member of the team felt their heart torn into pieces. My heart ached for all of them. And now ...Mac. I felt my heart torn into pieces as I read. I couldn't stop my tears rolling down my cheeks. But, now matter how sad this is, I have to say this: The ending was beautiful and touching, Only my comfort was Mac and Stella had at least each other. I love this story so much! Thank you so much for an amazing story! I can't wait to read your others! :) |
Daisy1966 chapter 3 . 7/12/2013 I couldn't focus on my work today because I cared about the continuation of this story! Haha! Now I was off the work, so finally I can relax and read this. :D I love the way you described Stella from Flack's POV. He is right! She is the strongest and bravest woman. She is also no stranger to a fight, and never one to run away. That's exactly what I think about her! I also love the way you described Mac! I think you captured his character well. It's nice to see his sore focus was Stella. My heart ached for Flack. His internal struggle killed me. He's such a caring person! What!? Stella has gone? Oh my God! I can't believe it! This shouldn't happen,...,shouldn't it? I hope there must be some kind of mistake in here. Ah... Thank you so much for sharing. Can't wait to see hos this story ends. |
Daisy1966 chapter 2 . 7/11/2013 I really impressed by Danny telling Flack that blaming himself isn't gonna help anyone! :D I love this Danny. Oh! I'm so worried about Stella! Hope she's gonna be OK, please! Thanks so much for sharing! :) |
Daisy1966 chapter 1 . 7/11/2013 Oh! This is so intense a starting! Stella/Mac is my second favorite pairing, so I can't wait to see what is going on. And it's interesting from Flack's POV. Thanks so much for sharing! |
decyfer chapter 1 . 3/9/2013 Because this was the story that started me writing in the first place, it's only fitting that I begin my long campaign here... otherwise, I would have started with Breaking the Rules, which is another of my favorites. Okay, let's get to it. First, I just want to point out that I think Flack's point of view was just perfect. I never would have even considered that, yet there it was. It was what first endeared me to this story... I feel I must tell you that this is the first story on this site that I remember reading. I read some before this, to be sure, but this is the one I remember. Which, I find, makes me come here and reread this pretty often. It's given me inspiration more times than I can count! Every time I read Mac, Stella, and Don speak about food, I grin. Just full-out grin. And then when the purse snatcher runs and Stella caught him, I remember my first reaction was, 'Way to go, Stella!'... and then he's gone. This confused me at first. And then I realized what was going to happen. I knew going into this that it would be a tragedy, and it's one of the things that I looked for (then) in stories - the aspect of sadness. Still, Stella's stabbing just killed me. And when she apologizes! I take a hit to my heart even now, reading it again... She's just not concerned about herself. It's the pain and the shock, is my understanding, but still... still! I nearly died, reading it. You have the most wonderful way of getting pain and sadness across a computer screen. I remember thinking that I'd never been hit as hard by a stabbing even within a bound book. Impressed me. Impresses me still. And then Mac comes, and I itch to press the 'next' button for the following chapter. Even now, having read this story as many times as I have, I'm eagerly awaiting reading the next chapter. Even though I know what is going to happen. That's what it is about your writing. The fact that I can read it several times and never get bored. The way it captivates everyone who reads it, the way that you can evoke emotion. Everything I have read of yours has been better than a good percentage of the bound books I have read. Do you even know how rare it is to stumble upon someone who can write in your caliber... anywhere? This is still, after all my years of reading, one of my favorite pieces of work on this site. And I have read hundreds, if not thousands, of stories. Thank you for writing. Long may you continue! |
Lozzarooni chapter 4 . 3/4/2013 Absolutely loved this. I had a funny feeling that it was all going to be a bad dream that Flack had been having and Stella was going to be alive and well. Nicely written with a brilliant ending. |
Ellaine7 chapter 4 . 1/11/2012 I've read this more than once and just had to leave a review! You write very well and this is one of the best mac/stella fanfics i've read. Makes me wish they put your idea into the CSI NY tv series when Stella left. |
