Aw...poor John. It was good to see genuine affection resurface in "This Mortal Coil". I'm sure "flashes of crimson" of all kinds filled his dreams and thoughts after that. Nicely done drabble! It's difficult to capture the depth of those emotions in exactly 100 words.
