As I make my way through the Charmed series for the first time, that was one thing I noticed about the (frankly sloppy, if understandably so due to behind the scenes drama) transitionhow Cole seemed to have been accepted by Piper and Leo, not just tolerated for Phoebe's sake. Cole was pretty much being lightly chastised for wanting to send a guy to hell to protect their secrets, a real turnaround from how he was treated in Season 3. Before I sought out transition fic, I came to a lot of the conclusions you do here about thatthat Cole definitively closing the door on his pre-Phoebe life with his betrayal, along with the willingness to go to such lengths to protect Phoebe and the natural way death can draw people together. And while this fic is still unfinished (and at this point will probably remain so) it's nice to see those thoughts play out and it's a wonderfully written missing scenes fic as is.

Why'd you just leave this story? You haven't updated since 08. And now i want to know what was going to happen. So get with the program will ya? Bye!

This is one amazing post season 3 finale fic, which definitely needs to be completed. So please update whenever you can :-)

Oh, this made me want to cry. How can you get everyone so perfectly? It's amazing. Cole (I've always gotta say something about this guy) leaving...I can see him doing something. They never fully explained on the show where he had been when he came back before Prue's funeral (Leo's "Look who's back" line).

Amazing story. One can truely picture each caracter reacting the way you've written. The way you write everything I see every scene before me. Fantasic!

That was so heartbreaking. All the emotions and the impact of each chapter, well, it was a lot to feel. And that moment in the kitchen just made Cole all the more endearing. Really great chapter!

All the while, Cole simply held her and she knew then that she would never love another man as much as she loved Cole in that moment.

OMG. As a huge Phoebe/Cole shipper, I nearly jumped up and down saying "Yes! Whoo-hoo! Whoo-hoo!" while doing a happy dance, but then I decided that it would be more dignified to simply do all that in my head.

Lovely chapter, Cole's gesture is a very sweet start to his new resolution to help his "family," and Phoebe's reactions to Piper's cold shoulder is very believable. All in all, an excellent start to part II!

loved it, really nice imput of the premonition and lovely phoebe and cole minute. phoebes emotions were very well portrayed and piper is staying very true to character. cant wait for more :)

So true to character. I can see Cole making breakfast-it adds a sweetness to a not-sweet situation. Nice job with Piper too and the tying (wrote "typing"...whoops) in of what happened after Grams died. It makes sense.
