Wow. I feel rather bad for Hermione's parents, and the comment about "do we have a daughter or a pen pal" really summed it up. She stayed at school for every break and then she was always spending the summer at the Burrow or 12 Grimmauld Place, how could they even know her anymore? The letters with as little detail as possible except for exam results are spot on. I'm a little worried about her parents after the war, though. I don't really think that they would be so blasé about their memories being modified, especially if she did it while they were having an argument.

The relationship between her parents is nicely developed, and well done foreshadowing SPEW.

"He was probably too busy playing computer games." Again, nice twists. Interesting plot point early on as well about her not having friends at her Muggle school-I can see that as a realistic characterization.

"I was particularly looking forward to the Steak and Kidney Pudding on offer." Lol Dumbledore is great. Good work.

Oh gosh, this was an absolutely amazing story. The descriptions were splendid, the writing style impeccable and the characters completely in character :D Loved it so much!

John's perspective is very truthful, for a Muggle, I find. And nice characterization of Hermione, it suits her perfectly.

Hey, just read your story the whole way through and I loved it.

I tend to really enjoy fics that are about the muggles of the Potterverse but I've only ever found two good ones about Hermione's parents so I'm extremely glad I've found this one.

Hermione's father was wonderfully portrayed and I loved the little Proud!Father moments you had in there. Her mother also, from what we saw of her, was portrayed well. It wasn't just the way they acted as characters though that made me like them, it's that you made them really seem like her parents, you know? What with the worry and the alarm, as well as things about their characters that are like Hermione too.

Your Hermione was perfectly in character too, and you can almost see the way she changes from year to year.

:P Sorry if the review seems rather shoddy but it's 1 in the morning and I'm really tired xD I'm not really much of a reviewer, but I really felt the need to with this one, despite the ungodly hour, as it was just one of those fics that you find and at the end of it just think 'wow, that was pretty damn amazing'
