one of hte reasons I've always like House is that he never had any problems saying 'no' to people. He's much more realistic than any other goody-two-shoes fake character seen on TV. People are mostly selfish and he showed that well.

great fic and quite a realistic way for House to tell Cameron he loves her.

Great fic, great characterizations of House and Cameron, not so much of Chase, great description of emotions, just two things I didn't agree:

When she had decided to take their "relationship" a step further,

* * * You mean the time when she was high as a kite on drugs, not thinking clearly, when she had an HIV scare? Cause that can't really qualify as a decision to take their relationship further.

Chase was many things.

* * * HE was also a rapist. Having sex with a woman who is on drugs is rape, every lawyer and cop would say that and every court would puthim behind bars/extradict him. It was the same as if he had slipped her a date rape drug in her drink and then had sex with her. That's rape, put cleanly and simply.

Otherwise it was a good fic.

I've always thought of them getting together and House expressing his feelings through a song because we can never see House doing it the conventional way D And anyways, it was perfect! And the song you used was actually the one I always thought was very HC. I love this fic. It shows enough drama and romance but just the right amount as to the real show would actually play. It's they type that you could actually see happening in the show if House & Cameron get together. Great work D Keep 'em coming.

Great line you gave House:

"I'm not. I'm tragic." he drawled. "But then again, if you're looking at this pessimistically, there's barely a difference."

All I can say is that this was one of the few truly 'dead-on' characterizations of House and Cameron that I could very clearly see happening in canon. Wow. You've just blew me away as it was so perfect. Great, great writing. Please keep it up as we need more of you to write it like it is, instead of "sunshine and daisys".

Truly, I really enjoyed this piece.
