So I just re-read this series again for the fourth or fifth time, and it was just as good as it was the first time. This was an excellent universe you concocted. I hope that one day you do write that third part!

maybe make the next storie with a member of the scooby gang getting thrown in to the buffy carter universe because there universe is destroyed by the enemy that buffy is ment to fight also loved this story

Both parts of the series were fairly good (though honestly, I completely agree that the emotional hook is important, near the end of both I was skipping the action scenes to read the stuff with the Scoobies, and Buffy dealing with her memories).

I think there was a tendency to stick a bit too close to the stories from canon, because I find reading 'the episode, with a few changes' rather boring (even if I haven't ever seen the episode in question it still feels boring)- but this was actually far better than most stories doing that. I think because you were very focused on the experience of Sam and Buffy living through the episodes, and as a result it usually wasn't repeats of action scenes scripted by the writers for an hour of viewing pleasure.

The way you dealt with who Buffy became in the Buffyverse was entertaining to read, in a sort of fixit fic way relating to a fandom where I haven't spent enough time in the become hideously bored with the whole thing (the way hearing about how much Dumbledore sucks is at this point).

This is part of why in the sequel with the Scoobies I really like how everyone close to Buffy was initially hostile to the people from her original universe- not just because they wanted to take Buffy away, but perhaps more importantly they saw them as partially to blame for the psychological problems she developed.

Also the sort of irony of Xander thinking perhaps the SG world was taking advantage of Buffy was fun to read.

Another amazing read! I'm glad to have hope for another sequel! I don't like to wait but Much prefer it to coming to love a story and then finding it abandoned half way through. I think now I'm going to go through so of your other stories. And hold on to that hope for more for this universe.

Oh yes, love it. I absolutely hate Giles for making Dawn and the others think Buffy is there against her will. I am not crazy about the Sunnydale gang at all. Xander can die, but I always felt that way...Nice story, now shoo, I am reading...Ghost.

First let me say, this is my second read through of this story. I believe I first discovered it about 2 years back. Don't remember if I reviewed or not, so here is hoping this is a first review from me. First I loved the precursor to this story, it was fantastic. Now on to this story. The old Sunnydale gang is not thinking clearly and it is Gile's fault. He is convinced she is here in this dimension against her will. He says things like she may be brain washed and we will have to force her to come home. That indicates he doesn't want the truth he just wants her back. Consequences be damned. I think I rather like Xander better in this one as he isn't really 100% decided yet. I of course love Dawn and Willow. Faith has issues, I assume she was around when Buffy was taken, so she thinks Buffy is there against her will and she would be originally correct but come on people, think, ask questions do not assume. Although I guess in fairness to them (and I hate to be fair because they have all caused her pain at some point) bit a lot could have happened over the course of 5 years, ask don't just assume. They did come at a bad time though. I am now going to read chapter two...Great job on both stories...Ghost!

I really like this story and its prequell. This is my third time reread and I still find it moving. You are a wounderful writer and hope to read more of your work.

I have really enjoyed both this story and it's predecessor. I sincerely hope you haven't totally abandoned this story (or fanfic writing, as long as it has been). I really want to see that third part of the trilogy where we see why the SG universe needed her!

Emotional hook eh... You've probably heard this from others, but one area you haven't broached with her, except in passing, is her 'love life'. If you want an emotional hook... Have Buffy find 'the one', but that person is threatened by the events... That most likely makes them either an SG member or perhaps a Free Jaffa. This would also fit well with the themes you've already run of 'Buffy finds a family' and 'Buffy says goodbye to her old family', in that it solves her one remaining major issue, that of destructive relationships. You even hinted at it in her goodbye sequence with Dawn... Marriage.

I liked it but i think dawn and faith should of stayed but that just me It was really goood keep uup the great work

Just finished reading your story. I really liked the ending. You are a great writer and thank you for finishing the story ... so many writers get halfway through a good story and just quit. Looks like I've read all the Buffy fiction I've been able to find, at least all over 20K. Maybe I'll start reading SG1 fiction now and maybe check the scifi channel to see if they show reruns.

I don't know if you know it, but the Air Force base near the Mountain and the Air Force Academy is Peterson Air Force Base, not Patterson AIr force Base. It is also Space Command Headquarters. Patterson, or Wright-Patterson Air Force Base is in Ohio and is a Museum, sort of the history of flight and rummered to have connections with the storage of alien artifacts in the conspiracy world.

This is a great story, a work of art and I'm enjoying the interaction with Buffy's old life and the new one. I'm curious just how things are going to work out. I think Dawn may be of particular interest in this story as well as WIllow and her magic.
