Very amusing. Especially the bit about "Smollum." I'm pretty sure no one else has done anything like this, so you get serious points for originality, and for humor ;).

This is a hoot! I've sometimes imagined the Ring's personality, but never thought it could be so amusingly opinionated. Although I don't get its dislike for "Smollum"; eternity with the guy sounds great to me!

This is REALLY original. And absolutely hillarious! You know, I'm never going to be able to watch the Lord of the Rings again without thinking of this story!

Hysterical. I love this story so far.

One tiny nitpick I had was the constant use of "Anyway, back to..." when the ring got into a monologue. I think it would have flowed better if you had snapped back into the story without that line, but that's just me.

The story is great, and I'm ancheously awaiting chapters 2 and 40495094 and all the others in between.
