P chapter 1 . 5/14/2014 Actually it makes a lot of sense... I liked the idea of chess set being McGnagall's, but this makes more sense. And very very sweet moments between Albus and Minerva, me likey. :) |
mychakk chapter 1 . 2/21/2014 loved this a lot. Your ADMM remind me of HHr (or how I imagine their camaraderie to be). I guess part of me does ship ADMM a little ;) |
Didget chapter 1 . 12/19/2012 i like it :P |
JustFishy chapter 1 . 7/18/2012 I really loved this - especially how easy they tease each other and the warmth exuded between these two, very close friends. I love ADMM romance, but I also value friendship, perhaps even more, and love when authors demonstrate that friendships are just as strong and meaningful as romances - if not more so. Thank you for this - its beautifully written, well thought out, and very in character for both your subjects. |
Hebi R chapter 1 . 5/20/2012 I thought the keys were either meant to be Madame Hooch's test, or, having read this, a collaboration between McGonagall and the Flight Instructor. Actually, several tests must either have been collaborations or several professors failed to contribute to the defenses. I suspect Trelawny was not highly sought after, but surely the Ancient Runes and Arithmancy professors had something to add. I also wonder what the Muggle studies professor might have contributed. I suspect the elective classes were not yet planned at this point, but unless they helped with the other traps, it seems like Binns and Sinistra (mentioned in the first book) did not help. |
Ember Nickel chapter 1 . 10/11/2011 Ha! Never run across that theory before but it does make sense, nice work. |
Dream Painter chapter 1 . 5/14/2011 "Wait, if you left then I should have to be Headmistress! Albus Dumbledore, don't you dare go anywhere!" ROFLMAO! This is such a delightful little piece. I had never questioned whether the students were wrong about who prepared which of the protections. Now that you've mentioned it, however, McGonagall having done the keys and Flitwick the chess set does make a fair bit more sense... Anyhow, I love how you've portrayed the friendship between Albus and Minerva - bravo! I love this. Then, again, I don't think there's anything of yours that I've read and didn't adore. |
the.stories.live.on chapter 1 . 2/11/2011 So true. She is a Quidditch maniac. Excellent reasoning and execution. I like how you presented their characters. Brilliant job. |
Twylyte chapter 1 . 8/31/2010 That makes perfect sense. What a lovely little moment at the end there! :) -Twy |
Cassandra30 chapter 1 . 8/29/2010 Good story! |
BuzzCat chapter 1 . 8/12/2010 A very good story, my dear author! Siriusly serious, and yet sweet. Very good! |
Diva of Overkill chapter 1 . 11/11/2009 Hilarious! The dialogue is sharp and witty. I really liked it. |
scorpioneldar chapter 1 . 10/18/2009 it does in fact make more sense love it feels weird not to ask for a continuation to a good story |
PennyOfTheWild chapter 1 . 3/15/2009 But is very well written. And an absolute joy to read. And amazingly inspiring. And beautifully characterized. And I could go on forever ... that was a stroke of genius, by the way. Hoever, I don't understand how the keys are a transfiguration - they were enchanted to attack anyone attempting to cross to the door, weren't they? But I loved this. |
musicgoddess618 chapter 1 . 9/3/2008 Haha...only the people how believe that MM and AD get together every week to play chess can believe it is truly hers. ] |
