HeartWritingM chapter 1 . 5/7/2009 very original idea and well-written on top of that! Was an entertaining read. |
Mr. Wizard chapter 1 . 9/1/2008 A really fun little piece. So that was the reason behind the recall, good enough to stick in the public mind for generations afterwards. Enjoyed this one a lot. |
Bubbahotek chapter 1 . 12/20/2007 Great car file. I could see the SLoth meeting the same fate as the really cool Chevrolet Corvair. Law suit happy lawyers chasing a poor little manufacturing company into bankruptcy. Yea... Great read, especially enjoyed the twins modifications. Bubba |
BenRG chapter 1 . 12/18/2007 A great idea. It is a sign of a true fan that you spent so much time writing a faux retrospective on a completely fictional type of car (and one that sounds fairly typical of the Detroit disasters of the '50s and '60s, plus a little satirical emphasis). It is exactly the sort of car that Mr. Dr. P. would give to Kim and its inherit flaws also explain the level of customisation that was necessary to even make it roadworthy (let alone be the sort of vehicle that would suit Kim 'Adrenaline Junkie' Possible). A nice bit of work! It read just like a real magazine article. I particularly liked Mr. Dr. P. and the Tweebs' comments at the end. BenRG's Rating: 7/10 |
Drakonis Aurous chapter 1 . 12/17/2007 Different from your other stories yet not to be overlooked. It makes a great indepth piece on the Sloth and the troubles it went through before being recalled and stopped. Kind of something that Wade would pull up if someone ever asked the Sloth's originations. Having James and Samuel (first time I recall someone giving him a name) Possible included in the report was genius. Jim and Tim's report was also genius. Good work. - Drakonis Aurous |
necro-wulf chapter 1 . 12/17/2007 love the concept of a backstory/production history for the sloth. Definately an original concept for a work of fiction, and your execution is credable and inventive. You covered all of the bases. |
spectre666 chapter 1 . 12/17/2007 This is certainly different from your usual. :) It is, however, a remarkably well written parody of a Motor Trend write up. It answers questions left hanging in the episode, and stirs up a few new. Why did James keep the Sloth? Couldn't sell it or did it have "memories"? (G) And last but not least, did the Tweebs "bug" the back seat? Inquiring minds want to know : Thanks, Spectre |
Cody MacArthur Fett chapter 1 . 12/17/2007 Great job you did here sir. I really liked this fic, you really did a good job describing the 'Sloth' in a humorous way. Now if only you could just update your other stores, 12 months is long enough! Once again great job, and it's great to have you 'back in the saddle again'. [It's a really great fic, but it's also essentially just the specifications to a car. Humorous, but specs none the less. However if you're into those kinds of things (like I am) then you'll love it, if not then the author has many other great stories for you to read if you so chose.] 4/5 Sic Semp Ty Carry on. |
Captain IT chapter 1 . 12/17/2007 to me the best "sixs" ever made was the chevy 6s( 194 to 292cid) Ford made a good 300cid too! keep on writing Captain IT |
whitem chapter 1 . 12/17/2007 This was great! Awesome... It actually kind of reminds me about the Tucker Mobile, and what happened to it. It too had many innovations that were way ahead of their time. I really liked the specs section... Nice job with this. |
Pharaoh Rutin Tutin chapter 1 . 12/17/2007 This is one KP crossover story I never expected. The KP - Car Magazine fusion. Ok, you've sold me. Where can I place my order for a 1963 New Model SL Coupe? |
