tin-a-holic chapter 1 . 7/13/2014 Sooooo goood! thank you for sharing! |
Lcsaf chapter 1 . 3/4/2013 This has always been one of my favourite little oneshot of those two. It's so well done. Beautiful. |
Megan McAlistair chapter 1 . 12/30/2010 "they match as well as if someone has planned it. Probably somebody has." so funny and so true "'And then Cain came galloping up on a white horse,'" so true, so true "he wonders if she and Azkadellia can magic a hangover away. Seems like a handy trick" that line gives me plot-bunnies this simple absolutely romatic oneshot has so many gold lines I can't even decide which one's my favourite |
CinephileSandra chapter 1 . 5/10/2010 Gah,this story is just all kinds of wonderful! Very sweet, I love it. |
Chance2 chapter 1 . 12/21/2009 Loved this so much! This is definitely one of my favorite DG/Cain stories that I've read so far. Just amazing! |
Ejays17 chapter 1 . 12/28/2008 I've just seen Tin Man, and was unsatisfied with the abruptness of the ending, and have been looking for good continuation stories - I'm a sucker for a well-written romance! I thoroughly enjouyed your story, the language you've used is just lovely. I also liked that it's not a "perfect" ending, that they both know it's not going to be sunshine & roses immediately, but they're willing to work & wait for it. Thanks for writing & sharing! |
JesSickUh chapter 1 . 5/27/2008 This was better than a fairytale. I especially liked the banter between Cain and Az about her supposedly not being evil anymore, and how old habits die hard. |
nadeshiko1 chapter 1 . 5/4/2008 Aw! Such a sweet and fluffy romantic Cain/DG story! Sometimes, it takes nearly losing someone to see how we truly feel about them. |
Alamo Girl chapter 1 . 3/27/2008 I hate that I let this little jewel slip past me. I think you have a true talent for capturing Cain with a realness that is enviable. Brilliant! You wove a touching and wonderful story around his spot-on characterization. Bravo! |
PadmeKenobi chapter 1 . 2/26/2008 You're gonna make me cry. This was so sweet. I can't describe how wonderful this was. Awesome job! I loved it. |
silentsister chapter 1 . 2/18/2008 I finally got to see Tin Man this weekend (no cable! it sucks!) and this is exactly what I needed after the abrupt ending Skiffy gave us. Your characterizations of DG and Cain and just perfect, and I dig your interpretation of Azkadellia is fantastic - the fact that she's still a bit of a schemer is great. |
effie214 chapter 1 . 2/7/2008 How I missed this for so long is beyond me. This is just perfect in so many ways. Your characterization of Cain was spot-on, real and breathtaking. This was just simply lovely. |
Lattelady chapter 1 . 1/9/2008 Beautiful story. Well written and in character. I loved the last line: "His heart's a long way from whole, it's true. But sometimes, like now, he things she might hae enough heart for both of them. I think that sums up DG and Tin Man perfectly! |
SG1SamFan chapter 1 . 12/31/2007 Favorite parts: * "When she smiles, he almost knows how that tree felt." Aw! And Cain dropping his hand from his cheek after remembering DG kissing him. :) * "Her gown is cornflower blue, like her eyes, and her eyes are bright as the sky. There's a jewel winking at the hollow of her throat, and in each earlobe; her hair is piled in a complicated structure atop her head, woven through with more tiny jewels and topped with a jeweled coronet." Wonderful description. I like "winking"-that's a good word. * The dancing, in all its forms. ;) * "He wonders if she tastes bitterness and rust." Love the subtle Oz reference, and perfectly in-character. * "It stings like truth." Ouch. Isn't that accurate? How do you keep them so in-character? Love your Cain and DG, and your Az and Glitch were especially good. I like that Az is broken but trying not to be bitter, and Cain's thoughts about her brokenness. Interesting. And your writing flows so well. The pacing was perfect! And I like the present tense for this piece. Oddly enough, I found this after reading a review of yours for another Tin Man fic. I liked your voice so much (yes, all two sentences of it) that I headed to your profile page to see if you'd written any Tin Man. Am I ever glad I did! You're doubtless in the top three Tin Man authors I've read so far with this fic alone, and your piece about Az is phenomenal, too. Excellent. Thanks for letting me read! Em ;) |
Moony-Blues chapter 1 . 12/18/2007 Mostly good. I don't like the drunken DG, but you definitely mastered Cain. Good job! |
