~squeals~ This story is so amazing! I absolutely loved it. It was great getting an insight into Eames' mind and how she views things. But I think my favorite part is how it ended with them slowly getting back into their old rythmn of things; it was like Eames was trying to show Goren that no matter what would happen she would always be there for him.

PS I found it interesting that you mentioned her quote of "Now it's too late now" and ending with a similar phrase "It’s too late to turn back now" which had a totally different meaning. Very interesting.

Wow! I totally love it! It is rare that people express Eames as the vulnerable one, the one scared of being close. And I liked it! Of course, more *talking* would be nice...but that is not their style...this is! Good stuff!

Thank you for this. As always, after such wonderfully enlightening episodes, I've been waiting to read your take on the "state of things" with the G/E duo. And you never dissapoint.

I think its been hard to dicern what's been going through Alex's head since Joes case was reopened. And other than the obvious increase in distance between she and Bobby, pinning down her motives is somewhat difficult. But you nailed it effortlessly and beautifully. I particularly loved how you brought up each point of fracture between them: from Joe's case, to the "he's tainted you"- "now its too late" lines, to the splindiferousness that was 'Untethered'. Each of them a tumbler to fall in the space between them, and you gave each reasoning for Alex's withdrawl in beautiful description.

Yes, indeed, you completely rock! You already know this. LOL! The ending was full of promise and healing and something we could only hope to see.

What interesting take on recent events-it's fantastic to see what you thought of it coz i've been at a loss in terms of what to make of all these Goren/Eames milestones.

In fact, i totally missed the fact Goren called Eames Alex-I guess the fact I'm a solid non-shipper means i wasn't realli looking out for it..but now i'm shocked I hadn't noticed..coz it's HUGE. rofl.

I think I was just so shocked (not surprised but still shocked) at seeing Eames fall apart and cry...

as for your classifcation of "General/Friendship"-I can't help but feel the whole fic is more than subtly shipperish? :P Come on, admitted!

And just to confirm you have impeccable taste- I too love sarah mclachlan and that song is fantastic. As are most of her songs really.
