I absolutely loved this story. It is truly my favorite Grillows story that I've read so far. I hope that you all (Grillows writers) don't stop writing, even after William Peterson leaves... Great Job!

Overall I like a lot about this story and I think it was well written. I think Sara got shortchanged in a big way. I would have had her let Gil raise the baby or at least talk to him sooner (hey, life if complicated and it makes sense they have to live with the complications and consequences). Also, he doesn't need to destroy Sara's letters. People come with pasts and that is part of what makes a person who they are in the present. I think by minimizing things between Sara and Gil is took something away from him. I'd like this story better if it explored both relationships in similar emotional depth, regardless of who got the happy ending.

I am not bashing you...the scene you wrote works well in the context of the rest of the story. But Gil wasn't very smart to rush into a new relationship before resolving things with Sara...it caused complications all around. I think he would have had the integrety to try and be there for Sara before moving on. Even though she pushed him away on the phone early in the story...it felt like you were rushing to get him and Catherine together.

What I think is that Gil needs to see his own counselor before talking to Sara again.

I think this was the wrong decision for Sara...

Well, I lean more toward GSR that Grillows...but I do think now that you have him in the middle of this triangle he needs to suffer and struggle with it for a while. I just don't think Sara is as hopelessly broken as she thinks she is (but then I would never have chosen counselng as a career if that weren't true).

Okay. Now that I've got my rants about Sara "Heartless Twit" Sidle out of the way ...

I really, really, really enjoyed this story. Not just because I'm a Grillows supporter, but because it was well-written and it was one of those rare fanfics that features Grissom standing up to Sara and telling her just how wrong she was to ditch him the way she did. There are so many stories out there where Grissom is Sara's faithful lap dog. So you can imagine how refreshing this story was.

So, from one Grillows fan to the next ... You go, spottedhorse!

Boy! Sara has some nerve. Not only does she walk into Grissom's home, uninvited. But she has the gall to be furious that Grissom moved on; that he was involved with another woman? And THEN she has the nerve to strike him and insult Catherine? But hey! At least she was able to realize that Grissom wasn't the emasculated, pathetic thing he was when they were together.

YOU GO, GRISSOM!

Oh, how I wish Gil and/or Sara would have clocked that condescending twit of a psychiatrist! I can't believe Sara didn't defend Grissom when her therapist tried to make HIM out to be the monster.

And by the way: GO, GRISSOM!

Ugh! Just when I thought Sara couldn't disgust, irritate or anger me more ... she has! I can't believe that she would murder another human being ... especially her own child! She's just full of excuses, excuses, excuses!

But then again, I am talking about Sara "It's All About Me, Me, ME" Sidle.
