Even though this fic is now over 10 years old and I no longer am part of the transformers fandom, I still come back to reread it. It’s one of my favorite transformers fics and I’m sad it will probably never update again. It’s a wonderful story and was one of the first I read when I joined the fandoms years ago

I have no idea how to articulate how much I enjoyed this.

It's like pulling teeth, trying to find something on FF that's entertaining AND well conceived. Where I can't wait to find out what happens next. Wwriting senses, after so long, you know instantly when there's inference or foreshadowing. Blessing and a curse. Ahem. Didn't pick up on the potentiality of pregs Barricade until the chapter before and I was literally like OH MY GODthisisthis...thissssss. Youuuuu. Now that's skill. I can't remember the last time I was surprised by a written work.

So I hope you're doing well for yourself after your "break up." I'm the only one in my family that didn't go into the service; my brother just got out so I think I understand how it is. xD Anyway I've been in the fic biz for over a decade and it's certainly a joy to see someone enjoy their work, and write for their fun and on their own time not because of some life-inadequacy-filling perceived obligation like the aspiring writer kiddies on here do. (Gotta love em. Used to be a writing tutor of sorts. Never ever again. I value my stress levels and any hope for the next generation.) It makes me want to start wiping the dust off one of my old concepts... I stopped writing for a few years, because life, and tried to get back in the saddle only to discover that my skills disappeared like "poof." It was my horrible, horrible heartbreak. Don't let it happen to you!

Fanism: Your rendition of Barricade down to the inner monologue just...gives me writer-feelsiness in ways I Can't Even. Never been able to write him or Bumblebee or Keep up the awesome. ;D Oh and go all copter fanatic in the story if it pleases you. Everyone fawns over the mains, fancy cars, and (ugly but amazing) jets. 'Copters are so underrated. If you can make one awesome, then by all means, let the passion into your writing. I for one would enjoy your perspective in the mix. Heck, these fanbrats could learn a thing or two about them.

A great chapter I finally got around to. I so do love updates from you. The way you represent the cons is always refreshing. They remind me of sailors or vagabonds but do have some type of comradery ... not all of them, but they couldn't have been an army if they didn't know how to survive each other. The way you pull off that atmosphere is always well done.
