OMIGODS this made me cry so hard argh why, George Lucas, WHY?!

Wow. I usually don't like this type of story, like where someone sings in it with the justification right after the lyrics, but this one is just so good and powerful. It really captures Obi-Wan's angst and mindset after being betrayed essentially by Anakin.

That was so sweet and lovely. I like to see Obi-Wan's parental side coming through; you can imagine him sort of awkwardly bouncing the baby up and down, trying to get it to sleep...I love the way you described his pain over losing Anakin. Great fic.
