It's a moderate premise but the story appears boring as I read it.
I think it's because you're reimagining the book's themes - madmen in the head, poverty to richness, etc. - in your story. Truth is I'm sick of hearing madmen rave in the MC's head. It's just done too much already, for 7-8 books. They're done to death. I can't read anything remotely similar right now.
Good story though - I found it clear and flowing though i didn't end up liking it.

About your authors note yes it's mentioned that there are slaves in the Blight and they are sometimes used to quench blades made there. Enjoyed the story so far keep at it

This last chapter is rather strange... He attacks Cadsuane for no reason, and then somehow is cooperate long enough for enough Aes Sedai to come still him? This chapter is missing A LOT of much needed detail and filling in.

Not bad. You should know that in common it's called "gentling" for a man and "stilling" for a woman. And in the Age of Legends it was called "severing" and that applied to both of them.

So your main character would probably, at least at first, refer to it as 'severing,' as would (and does in the story) Mieren (Lanfear).

When he does learn of the proper term, he'd call it 'gentling' just as everybody else should be.

Hm. Not sure I agree with you about gun powder weapons-they have iron foundries and bell-makers you know, and Mat's looking to make cannon in the last few books, if you'll recall.

Even so, the very first cannon had wooden barrels and fired arrows or shards of pointy things.

Still, I like your story so far. You've got decent story-telling skills, and a very interesting plot. Keep it up!

Wow, this chapter about Logain Ablar was pretty cool in sense it makes a nice side story about how the man came to power. But I'm not sure about the people of Strongquarry becoming a roving band of mercenaries; there ARE women and children among them. Sure, the Huns were such, but they were nomadic to begin with.

It's also cool that people of Strongquarry seem to be descendants of Manetherens. I kinda thought Tarmion would lead them to Two Rivers to resettle. And cool names for Tarmion's companions: Zath, Azrel, Aryman... kinda sounds like various demonic names.
