I really liked this because it made me think about what I would do if I lost someone I loved. And then I think about what love really is. Anyway, this was beautiful. It has a kind of bittersweet feeling to it. Thanks for writing it. :)

great story. i was a confused about how and why Rukia and Orihime died though. Do you mean that Rukia, Orihime, Kira, Kon, Rikichi, Aizen, and Ichimaru all die in the anime or just in your story? If its in the anime, i wasnt aware that the manga was that far ahead of the show. interesting.

Nyah! So cute! Your RenIchi is always so good! How do you do it? The endding, when they burned the shack, reminded me of Full Metal Alchemist when Ed and Al burned their home down and never looked back. Please keep it up!

I'm very excited at the idea of you writing longer fics again. This one was superb and believable. Ever read the IchiRen fic "Not Love" ?. It is in my favourites if you are interested. These two fics are some what similiar.

That was sad...Kon is so innocent when he gets in Ichigo's body and just thinking of him dying is really sad. And I like Rikichi and it took me three more lines before I relized Kira had died...I was almost crying. You write really good. Please continue. _

This was fantastic.

What I think I love most about this piece is that it is something I could really see happening realistically with both Ichigo and Renji. On top of that you did all of the pairings as well as all of the characters involved - no matter how small a part they played - justice and kept everything so real and believable.

The suppressed emotion was fantastically interwoven into Renji and Ichigo's meetings, which I loved and I really like how you used time in this story (the four year war/romance parallel) as well as not rushing to the end.

It was just brilliantly written and I loved it.

I'm definitely adding this story to my favourites.

That was both sad and sweet. A beautiful story! I found that with every sentence I read, it was all straight to the heart and painfully honest. I really felt for the characters. With your writing, it's almost like you've made the emotions real; and by typing them, you've transfered them into your reader. And although I've never experienced something like this, I was able to relate to the characters and their pain and growth. If I may be so bold, I'd guess that you must have felt these strong emotions of hurt and loss to be able to write so authenticly! Well, anyway, I thought the ending was inspiring and motivating- but it still had a taste of bitterness (for me anyway!) Great work A-kuni! Go write a novel already! I wanna see a book authored by you at Chapters or Barnes & Noble ASAP! lol! :P

wow, you have once again proved you are the queen of writing IchiRen stories. That was so touching, I even teared up at one point. I love that they state that they aren't replacing Rukia or Orihime. Great job!
