Alright! I think your story is AWESOME. You are an amazing writer and I really like where this plot is going. I would normally review every chapter, but this is getting SO good that I just HAVE TO KEP READING! IT'S SO GOOD! I'm REALLY sorry that I haven't reviewed a lot. Its just that I've been really busy lately and I still ahve to read other stories when I'm on fanfiction. SO, I don't get a lot of time to review and I like giving nice, long, truthful reivews to the authors tht deserve it because I really do want to help them.

Why in the flying fuck is this fic in bold? Is there a point to it, beyond wanting to make your readers' eyes water?

You obviously don't drive. If a vehicle had broken down five times in one day, then there is something substantially wrong with it, and it is not driveable nor would a reasonable person attempt to do so, no matter how desparate. Being stuck alongside the road with the hood up is much more hassle than taking a bus.

How on earth would someone fix a car like that without a full range of mechanic's tools, some of which are too bulky or unwieldy to carry in a car and the appropriate parts?

Ah, we see this ridiculous exaggeration was put in the story to show what a nonconformist your Mary Sue is.

Let us explain something to you: Perhaps your Mary Sue would get away with wearing slacks or shorts as a young woman, and she might even wear jeans if she were gardening or doing strenuous housework, but jeans in the 1960s looked like slacks made of denim.

In addition, ballcaps were worn by baseball players. They were not widely worn by men of every stripe and almost never by women.

What sort of bitch threatens someone with a knife for offering to help her? Do you really think someone would keep insisting on helping your Mary Sue when she is dressed strangely and acting strangley? They would more likely call the police, and after she threatened them with a knife, they would most certainly call the police. She wouldn't even be able to make a getaway, because her car is broken down.

And, in a city of millions of people, she just happens to bump into Dallas? Do you have any idea of how big Tulsa actually is?

This fic fails.

wow. i like the direction that you've taken with this. i think that though the destructive father/daughter relationship has been done, the flashback was very original - i liked it.

Okay, well one thing you gotta remember is that Dallas couldn't see Phoebe's face so i dunno if he would have seen the look on her face when she shivered. Also, the ending was kinda weird. i'm surprised that they care about the noise level. They're a bunch of rowdy hoods - so...i'm not so sure about that part, but everything else was really good!
