MS Rae, I solved that little problem by having 2 puters.

In fact, I actually have 3 right now. All laptops, as I stopped using a tower the 2nd time lightning took it out! By having at least 2 laptops, IF I have a problem with one, I can stay online. :) And you do not have to spend $2,000 to get one either! I paid less than $600 each for both of these. I suggest you look into it. And I am NOT suggesting you go all laptops. But, it works for me. I sit on da couch & surf da web. My printer, wireless router, & DSL modem sit on the other side of the room, out of da way! The only line hooked to any of my laptops is the power line! :)

I hope you can do something simular to help with your problems!

So far, this story is alright. The spelling and grammar is fairly good, which is a high mark in its favor. The plot is still developing, so not too much to comment on there yet.

The enmity between Harry and Shantiel mostly disappearing by that encounter in the room of requirement is believable, but the sudden trust in one another, I find, lacks credibility. Not being infuriated by one another is not the same as trust. A gradual friendship building between the two (e.g. Harry lets her back on the team, they start studying together, etc.), culminating in Harry sharing his (incredibly laughable) spirit separation and love-induced resurrection/time-travel thingy would make more sense. On that note, the whole spirit separation and love-induced resurrection/time-travel thingy was just-I can't even find the words to describe how hard I laughed and shook my head. Unless you meant it to make fun of other fic writers who pull shit like this, I will be laughing at you for some time. I mean really...he dies, communes with his soulless body, then Dumbles gets people to cast "Lumos," and ultimately this forms a portal through time that allows Harry's soul and body to reunite?

Anyhoo...

Harry's reasons for not trusting Shantiel are a bit shaky, but, then again, Harry's not too bright in canon. I prefer an OOC Harry, to be honest, but keeping Harry in-character is a praiseworthy goal. Kudos

I think this is one of the first times I've seen Trelawney making another prophecy in a fic. A point for using a non-cliché. Non-cliché is as close as I get to saying "original"; this is meant to be a compliment. It ties Harry and, presumably, Shantiel together nicely.

A mistake: tickling the pear is how you open the door to the kitchens, not the room of requirement.

Like I said at the beginning of this review, an alright fic so far; nothing has "wowed" me yet, but there have been some things I consider laudable and others laughable.

Great, awesome, and absolutely fantastically written story!

The only improvement I wish to see is Harry bashing Jayden and maybe Draco. :D
