I think this story is an amazing idea. I love your characterizations (even though Kira isn't constantly hanging over Light's shoulder if not wholly possessing him, which is VERY welcome but rather odd for Light at this point), and your writing is beautiful.

I had a sudden thought while reading this- I sort of had the feeling L kind-of-might-have-thought that he and Light were...'like that' (XD) before he lost his memories. I mean, Light was acting awfully suspicious, and I'm sure it occurred to L, as he's the logical, consider-every-possibility type. The shoulder rub, the ambiguous looks, the holes in the 'how we met' story (maybe they had a mad passionate love affair that Light is hiding because he doesn't want to seem creepy! [BAHAHAHAHAHA])- IT'S COMPLETELY LOGICAL.

I found everything you wrote for the Death Note fandom, and I absolutely love it. I refuse to touch Fruits Basket, but the Danny Phantom! Danny Phantom/Fenton is my DP OTP. Dan/Danny I'd never seen before, but it was great too.

I find this idea very intriguing, and a great way to start off the two meeting again. I loved their conversation as well, very touching - though I don't think Light would call L 'Ryu', it's just to cutesy.

u should probally make L remeber the stuff a little at a time and then make him chase after Kira again! (but ler Kira win MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA)
