Honestly, I think it could have gone on a bit more, where they talk about going from the snogging to actually having a relationship. But I think I will just content myself with re-reading it all. Luna and Harry forever!

Good! I like Harry with Luna, too. In fact, I prefer that pairing to Harry and Ginny. While Ginny is undoubtedly a beautiful girl, there is a harder edge to her character, perhaps a leftover from her possession by Riddle. We know from canon that she can be unkind, as we see in her treatment of Fleur; and she's ruthless with that Bat-Bogey Hex. IMO, Rowling left her sufficiently ambiguous that I can believe her capable of using Amortentia to snag Harry. (Sorry, but I do.)

Luna, on the other hand, is winsome and a bit ethereal, with a sweetness and vulnerability even to her humor. She is gentle, observant, and perceptive beyond the five senses. She seems to "intuit" what Harry needs - even if he doesn't know himself - and after giving him a gentle nudge, she's patient enough to give him the time to "get there" on his own. Your story illustrates this perfectly.

interesting story, i dont think i have read one in first person from luna's POV before and i think you did a really good job with getting her right.

Nice short story, nice new perspective you've written in, was a nice change of pace.

Luna has always been one of my favorite characters.

I never really thought about Harry/Luna being a parring, but this made it seam very very plausible. *applause*

I liked this story. Well paced and good characterisation. Luna's comment about her previous kissign partners swearing her to secrecy was quite sad. Well done.

This was a very cute Harry/Luna, and I love how you played it out. Luna's just the best.

But, Ginny BREAKING UP WITH HARRY? I just can't buy that premise. Maybe if Ginny had died in the battle or something... but Ginny just deciding she doesn't love Harry anymore is about as likely as Ron setting out to murder the Chudley Cannons in cold blood.

I mean, we're talking about a girl who finally had a life-time's worth of yearning(from her initial crush in childhood, to the admiration and friendship of her early teens, to the real selfless love of her late teens) vindicated. Not just by Harry's belated reciprocation, but also by knowing from experience that Harry's the sort of rare person who's worthy of such devotion.

I just bugs me how often Ginny's characterization gets grievously mutilated every time someone wants to write Harry with another girl, rather than bothering to come up with a PLAUSIBLE reason for Harry to not be with her.

And I actually LIKE the Harry/Luna pairing.

This was a very cute lil flick:::I really think these two are the best pairing.
