This was really good, I hope your hiatus is going well. While Yuffie/Cloud doesn't make much sense outside of KH, you've really done a good job of portraying how the confusion of world-shifting affected the characters. I can't say much for how the FFVII cast changed over the course of Dirge of Cerberus/Advent Children era, but it's really well done for a merger of FFVII and KH characterizations.

Final Fantasy VIII turns lots of people off, so I can understand your lack of familiarity with it. Squall should be the one with the greatest recognition of past lives, given his previous experiences with Laguna. However, the lack of interaction with people from his world - Selphie, Seifer, Fuujin, and Raijin were fairly minor characters - it makes sense that there wouldn't be anything to hold on to.

Please update if you can! This is really amazing and I was sobbing and smiling at the bits about the original world. Plus your Cloffie moments are incredible!

wow. its a pity you havent updated this because this is a FABULOUS story. not only does it have a unique plot line, its extremely well written and describes everyone perfectly. i love cloud & yuffie in this, and her lingering thoughts about vincent. plus the latest chapter about leon is brilliant. i do hope you update this because its too wonderful! you wrote this crossover well. i would really like to see where this goes. Love the juxtaposition of Yuffie and Cloud's characters from KH world and FFVII world. I really hope you'll continue this some day, as it's wonderful.

I liked the way you wrote moments when Yuffie wasn't sure about her past, and so those little flashbacks. Yeah, it's gonna be one of my favourite stories... :
But it would be even better I you would update, you know? It's really worth it, I think... So I'm gonna wait and see :)

This was just an incredible story. The amount of care put into developing the characters and their relationships is just...amazing! It's nice to see the 'their world is completely gone, how are they going to cope?' issue so fully explored, especially considering the whole Aerith-being-alive issue. This was a very good read, and I truly hope you get back to this story someday if you can, because it'd be a shame not to see the outcome of all this buildup :)
