kjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjj chapter 1 . 12/8/2010 It was so obvious to Sirius. Remus, just tell him! By the way, it is a wonderful story. :) |
macdennischardee chapter 1 . 6/7/2010 Awe:) And haha of course James likes the red heads the best. The last few paragraphs are my favorites. |
waves chapter 1 . 4/23/2010 Ha! I have defeated the you-can't-review-twice rule! What I meant to say in my previous review, since it was mentioned that the story was preslash, is that Remus is still in the dark about whether his feelings will ever be requited or not. And I have a strange theory, that no one else has to agree with, but I almost get the feeling that Sirius is a late bloomer. He doesn't yet feel any true lust at all, for either gender, and is merely putting on a show for his friends. Objectively, he can look at photos of beautiful women and think, yes, they are lovely, but there is no desire there. The same goes for males. But when puberty finally kicks in for Sirius, Remus better watch out! ;-) Yes, I know I'm odd. |
parhelia chapter 1 . 4/23/2010 Really? I haven't reviewed this yet? This is the second time today I could have sworn I reviewed something only to find that I did not. Sigh. For shame. This is so wonderful! Hilarious and brilliant and what a great canon-filler too. For some reason, I've always pictured Peter as being someone attracted to well-endowed women, so I loved seeing that here. But my favorite part, that I love to read over and over again, was the very last paragraph. So beautiful, and Sirius *knows*. You don't often see that in fic, where he knows and doesn't immediately act on it. Personally, I'm glad that I don't know who Sirius would pick out of the calendar, if anyone. I love the mystery. It makes the ending even more poignant, as then the reader never knows for sure if Sirius will ever return Remus' feelings or not. |
5redroses chapter 1 . 1/19/2010 Very poignant :) |
madamemoonyblues chapter 1 . 7/31/2009 *dies* Crafty little rat that Peter is, eh? I love how you managed to take so many elements that are common (Sirius's dislike for his mother, James's love for Lily, Remus's love for Sirius) and work them in in ways that you don't often see (Sirius imitating his mum, James being attracted to the two redhaired girls, and Remus being drawn to the girl most like Sirius). It all seems like a bit of misdirection: James looks and thinks of Lily, Remus looks and thinks of Sirius. Who is Peter, so fond of big knockers, thinking of? And what of Sirius? This was cute and also made me think, which gives you two thumbs up. |
Moonsign chapter 1 . 3/31/2009 So gorgeously bitter-sweet for poor Moony. I love how you mix the humour with the deeper emotions. I'm so glad I've discovered your writing, Bottlebrush! Why did you not tell me before how brilliant you are? Lots more, please! Moonsign |
potterfreak0515 chapter 1 . 2/24/2009 *whimper* This was so heart-breaking. |
Mekare chapter 1 . 1/14/2009 Very nice, and the ending was touching. *sigh* |
the-amazing-lyndz chapter 1 . 12/5/2008 hilarious. i absolutely love that for once peter wasn't written as a snivelling, weak, and stupid character. he may not be a character i'm particullary enamoured with but i mean he should still have some variety. i love how james is so shocked to find out that peter has a calendar of girls, "Look at this, Pads, it's girls", great line. all in all a truly terrific story, i found it absolutely hilarious and cute in some places. you've done an amazing job, keep up the terrific work. the-UnknowableXx chapter 1 . 10/16/2008 Haha, Sirius the all knowning. Really cute. 11 out of 10. |
muhaaauder chapter 1 . 10/15/2008 Aw, poor Moony! Very sweet and funny. Love the dialogue - the whole fic, actually, and the choices they make (genious thinking, Padfoot). Favourited... |
The Mills Apocrypha chapter 1 . 9/16/2008 You got a lot in a small space here i really enjoyed and had little squee's at the end. Great job, so, does Sirius like the brunette best? :D |
Wuff chapter 1 . 6/22/2008 Hehe, that was cute. I liked your idea to make Peter change the girls into windmills etc. :P "He looked across the room at Remus delving in his trunk again, and felt a mixture of affection, understanding, pity, and something indefinable, something like awe." Somehow, I found this sentence really touching. |
bghnbghn chapter 1 . 5/31/2008 aww, that was lovely bottlebrush! and we all know remus is transparent _ but we love him anyway. |
