I loved how you still made Obi-Wan and Anakin friends. I'm sick of reading stories where they're both hateful towards each other. It's not even right.

I also loved how you snuck Obi-Wan singing in there. Ewan McGregor's voice is gorgeous. I don't know if you ever heard it before. But Ewan's singing voice is absolutely breathtaking. I love him.

Oh, and slash was definately the way to go with this story! ;D

Your ending is fine. The angst came through as well as the forgiveness. Is this the end, then, or was 'complete' ticked on the story? If you'd like to try an epilogue, that's okay, just wondering. I liked Bant's inclusion, of course, and the song at the end. You're right, this story does seem a tiny bit familiar, but I didn't begin reading ffn until April '06 so maybe it was before that? Happy writing.

I've read alot of Obi angst where Qui Gon neglected him for Anikin, but i don't think i've actually read one where Anikin was not portrayed as a evil little kid.

I think I like your idea better, seeing as i don't actually HATE anikin, and seeing him and obi become rivals over Qui Gon is just too sad

Nice job! And Bant is in here! YES! I always loved her in the novels! She was so neat and perfect friend for Obi-Wan. You did a great job writing her. I'm glad to see that Obi-Wan still has a close tie to Bant.

I'm anxious to see how this dinner goes. I'm glad to see that Obi-Wan doesn't appear to dislike Anakin, cause it really isn't the boy's fault. I'm also wanting to see if people are really nervous around Obi-Wan...as ya suggested eariler...or if it is all really in his head now that a year has passed.
