Oh wow, this is absolutely beautiful! I enjoyed "Communion", there's something of classically vampiric in it, but this is intense on whole other levels! How marvelous! Thank you for sharing, and never be afraid to "roll with it"! It suits your talent!

You actually wrote what I have been scared to write even in my other fandom. You are my hero. I loved this.

Ohhh, this was so delightfully Lerouxian (that's my word and I'm sticking to it). I definitely had a moment of "Is he going to...? oh, yep, he is," but it works, and it's touching, and the allusion to "other, more secret places" has me HNNNGing, and I just have so many feelings about this scene right now. But it's really, really well written and I love it.

Quietly heartbreaking. I liked the cosy atmosphere you create out of little detail, the bittersweet feelings Christine harbours, Erik's canonical emotional outpourings, and Christine's equally canonical kindness.
It didn't feel weird, it felt very right for these two characters.

Wow.

That was quite the act of healing and intimacy. I can see him being overwhelmed by the tangled emotions of a new child-exhaustion, bewilderment, fear, love, and completely not understanding why she would love the baby, resentment that his own mother had not loved him-and you caught every one of those emotions in this intense short scene, including that she was slowly learning to love her husband and that she acknowledged how he was being the best man he could, as he had promised.

Did not see that coming! Beautifully written as always, I love seeing writers push the limits and this is no exception, you've managed to deliver the idea in a warm and intimate scene, I adored the hand wringing. Your writing never fails to amaze me, it reads like poetry.

I'm glad that you were able to finish the story and posted it! It's beautifully written, as always, and you pack a lot of story into a small set of words! I love that Erik is mourning the life that he was never able to have and trying to take comfort in the life that they are creating together. I also, for some reason, super enjoy the fact that she doesn't love him yet (probably because I'm all about angst) but that she's getting close.

I just read all of these and they are wonderfully angsty! Particularly ‘Clair de lune’ and the following ‘Perception’ with the wringing of his bony hands, OMG the tension is delicious. I also love ‘And be Seen’ this one really makes you feel his mounting desire to be more than just a voice to Christine. Your ‘choices’ one, ouch, but on point. And what can I say about ‘Communion’ this so erotic without really being erotic it's awesome. I found it a tingling piece of gothic literature I had to read twice. It made me uncomfortable and giddy at the same time. I am a BIG Leroux fan and I loved these
