Wow that was amazing.

The different problems, emotional and physical that everyone had to deal with made the story that much better, like Naruto and his coma for a month, and Hinata and the loss of all her family and friends, and Kiba and his attatchment to Akamaru even though he had been infected, and especially shino, and how he had to get rid of such a large part of himself because he would die if he didnt. Its sad that they had to go though such terrible things, and that their whole village went to shit in one month. I wonder what Naruto and Hinata would do after everything settled down...

Naruto and Hinata should find a Akatsuki member who hasn't been infected and travel with him. Namely Itachi, Kisame, Pein, or Deidara though I prefer Kisame.

You could have Kyuubi's chakra burn the infected turning them into Ash. It could also vaporize any blood that gets on Naruto so it won't infect him, but will shorten his lifespan.

good story, the ending was really sad, but held hope for a brighter day. i saw the movie as well, and even though they held the same plot, yours had a somewhat air of originality to it, i commend that.

"Wake Naruto up, we have to move fast. We lost a lot of time due to the storm and it will be dark soon, we want to make it to Suna before dark."

It might have been a little better and more professional if you had instead put:

It will be dark soon, and we want to make it before then."

Change infected to Infected as if it were it's own species

And change:

'Booby trapper field' to 'booby trapped field'

Good work... I'm guessing no Neji T-T

Um, a few grammar/errors:

"Don't be so scarred (should be 'scared') all the time," the second man replied calmly, his hollow eyes (unclear, literally or as if without emotion?) continuing his examination of the many caged demons.

Not a single person was in site (should be 'sight' ) and there didn't appear to be anyone even in the building.

Some things were unclear, a few didn't make sense.

Very, very interesting. I loved the characters and the desperation pumped into all of their actions and emotions. The plot though, especially in the beginning, seemed ripped directly from 28 Days Later. Even in the end, I felt like I was reading a slightly more family friendly version. It was as if they were in the military base, but it was their towns being destroyed, not their women being raped. All in all, though, I do really like this. The action was superb and the characters were done well. Kiba's death scene was fantastic, too.

Great story! I agree with cjonbloodletter clones would have helped a lot! The way it was written made me fall for it! Few questions: kyuubi save naruto if he were to be bitten? Sasuke survive any of this? and ever happened to the rest of the rookie 9 and there teachers? Just some food for thought, no need for an answer, maybe a side story for fun? Anyhow...great story!

This is a vary good story. I like how you gave gaaras death in a way that sticks to the manga/anime charicters ways. It goes along with "28 days later" (I think that's the name) so it's kind of a let down. But for a oneshot turned ongoing story, it's good.

Wow even tho it is much like 28 days later and RE i really really liked it. Tho it could ue more emotion and such, I was abit surprised at the death of sakura so early in i still liked it.

Definately a sad story. It's to bad Naruto was to weak from his stay in the hospital, Kage Bunshin would have really helped right then.
