***Spoiler alert for other readers***

I don’t know if you still look at these reviews or intend to come back to writing fanfiction someday…I just want you to know that while I enjoyed your story immensely, I was very disappointed that Obi-Wan and Padme were essentially written out of the story by the end of A New Hope. I understand that at some point it becomes the Kenobi children’s story, but for Obi-Wan and Padme to basically only be a part of the story only for moral support(for about the last 100 chapters or so) for their children was really disheartening. Given their past, they should at least been more involved, if not taking over the Rebellion to a greater degree(which is touched on at the end of A New Hope), but ultimately thrown away by the end of the battle of Hoth. Given that Obi-Wan was still actively training his children, he could have been more of a Dooku type combatant, not the strongest fighter, but still leaps and bounds better than his children until late into the story would have made sense and Padme no longer had a role other than “mom” not much later than Obi-Wan lost his role in the Rebellion. It makes sense that once you introduced Shmi and Jareth into the story other characters had to lose some screen time(otherwise I can see the story easily being 200,000 words longer), but for Obi-Wan and Padme to lose out to Shmi and Jareth(their characters aren’t as strong to drive the story in my opinion) was just plain disappointing. When the story is supposed to be an Obidala AU, the thought is that the two main characters will be just that…main characters!

Oh. In addition to my previous review, this remains the only fic which manged to make me actually like and feel sympathatic about Anakin Skywalker. The way he is written from this chapter on is wonderful, even when he turns into Vader I'm still feeling sorry for him. He's no longer that whiney kid in AotC. Good Job.

Hello Mr Lionchilde. I know you don't write on this site anymore but this is my third read through of this magnificent masterpiece of Obidala goodness. I have read a lot of fanfictions even written a few but nothing had quite come close to what you have here.

Just a start but I believe it has potential.

So I stumbled across this story a week ago but I only managed to start reading it recently. And now roughly 48 hours after starting it, I have reached the end. I wanted to commend the both of you for your talents with the written word. This story was absolutely fantastic. I wish you both the best of luck and I look forward to more writing from you.

LOOOOOOOVE THIS MASTERPIECE! If this were a physical book, i know i could never put it down..(I actually didn't..lol..i kept reading and reading as much as i can because)...IT'S SOOOO GOOOD.. I'm speechless...lol...i wish i have more words to say other than the above but...i just feel happy and content with the fic as a whole and with this ending. As much as I love Obidala, i've come to love other relationships in this story too, especially Ani and Anakin's. Theirs really tugged at my heartstrings the most because they still love each other despite the pain and suffering they've experienced. Ani's unwavering love and devotion to his Uncle while never compromising his principles was one of the things that got me hooked onto this fic. There's more, of course: Obidala couple ("Remember Tatooine," the commlink device, the dance, looooove it all!) and then, Obidala family, the strays added to their family (lol!), the humor, the adventure, and just the recurring theme of enduring love and loyalty with each other: The Kenobi Way, they say -which I don't think i'll ever forget...So thank you both so much for writing such a beautiful story!

Gah, this makes me a weeping mess...lol...

Luke being there with his brother proved to help them gain victory with the help of Vader at the end...

What a twist! Palpatine controlling Vader through the Force..

I hope Shmi plays her role well..though i have my doubts..

I wonder what the Emperor's plans are with the Kenobi boys..
