Aww, that was cute. Heh, my inner-shipper appreciates that they got together in the end, although, at some point near the end here, I was actually reminded of a fanfic I never wrote in which Arnold didn't return Helga's feelings and what the realistic conversation would be like if that were to happen, so I'm glad that you pretty much wrote what I would've expected from that kind of scenario (...and still found a way to get them together, yay!).

Ah, the movie in 2002 as inspiration... I'm still working on a fanfic I started back then (and yeah, I have every intention of completing it and posting it... someday... it's come a long way since then, but it'll probably be at least another year... I don't want to post anything until it's completely written, 'cause I've left people on hiatuses for over a year before and I don't want to do that again!). I'll admit, when I saw the movie I was living in a city, and now I'm living in an even bigger city, so I had no problems going to watch it (with my high school friends at the time!). If only Nickelodeon would acknowledge dedicated fans like you! There's definitely room for improvement with how that company runs things, I believe.

WOW what a beautiful story. I had tears in my eyes but they were tears of happiness. As soon as arnold said "we'll have to take it slow" i almost cheered lol. Thanks for sharing that backstory it was sweet. Hey arnold seems to hold a special place in so many peoples heart and to me arnold and helga make the most perfect couple so the ending you gave was perfect. It was short and simple and not gushy or sappy but i think it made it more powerful when arnold just was himself being a great guy that he is and giving her a chance. You know as soon as he sees the real helga behind the mask he will fall in love with her too. This story really touched me and thank you for finishing it. :)

Well at least Helga knows how Arnold feels. That is all apart of love. Sometimes the person you love. Don't love you back. I always thought the tables would turn when they got older. Now that Arnold knows. Curly and Harold have nothing on her. Unless they just want to tell the rest of the class. I'm hoping Arnold changes his mind about her. Please update when you can.

Aww poor helga you just want to hug her and tell her it will be ok even though we know she is heartbroken. Wasnt expecting that reaction from arnold though in a way it make sense he would of known all along but its a little sad he doesnt feel the same. Really good story look forward to update.
