unluckyomen13 chapter 1 . 10/21/2018 Second time that I have read this. THANK YOU! 3 |
jjisme chapter 14 . 1/6/2018 Even though it's been a freakin' decade, I liked this fic so much I felt obligated to review. I enjoyed the office setting so so much! I loved how mature the boys become. Most fics have them fighting and hating (at first at least), and I really like how they're more mellow in yours. And the slow pace and uncertainty, perfect. Jonouchi grasping Kaiba's shirt? incredibly sexy yet delicate moment. And a final note, you mentioned the title as unoriginal or something, but I sure liked it. I'm currently studying Japanese and this word is used excessively at my class, so the title was a fun surprise. |
storyshark2005 chapter 6 . 12/16/2016 haha! I loved Jou having to wait for Niita to pick up the phone...and wait...and wait... I totally manage people like her- the worst! I like how you're using the fact that she's a pretty awful assistant to provoke the question- "why doesn't he just fire her?" With a less capable author that would be an annoying plot inconsistancy to me. But since you've kept him so in character thusfar, I trust you're answering the question with something more interesting. It leads me to- Maybe he's not such a heartless bastard after all... ;) |
moyago chapter 14 . 6/15/2016 This is a really, truly remarkable story! Continuing after the official End of the series and making it look plausible is really not all that easy, and you made it look good, too! Loved that slow burn and I loved the over-all credibility you gave the characters. It was intensely satisfying to read and I'm glad you finished this despite running low on creative-fumes (it wasn't noticeable at all in the writing, which is amazing so kudos to you!). Thanks for sharing this brilliant story! xoxo |
Guest chapter 14 . 5/31/2016 omoo I thought that this story not completed but yess! good! :D |
Guest chapter 5 . 6/30/2013 T_T revolted? how sad... |
w4r7c chapter 14 . 6/24/2013 This was a truly wonderful piece of writing. Thank you for putting the time and effort into it. One of the most enjoyable stories I had read to date :) |
Smouse chapter 14 . 6/2/2013 Aw... I'm sad it's over. :( That was a great fic, the humor was spot-on, bordering on almost canon-possible. If you want constructive critisism, it was dagerously close to being clishy ones or twise, but you managed to save it beutifully. ;) also, wish you didn't skip the night Seto and Katsuya spent together. I'm not saying you had to write hard-core prOn, it's just that the chapter gave the feeling it was all rushing towards their "big confrontation" and then you just... skipped 60% of it :/ Made the chapter feel slightly rushed and hastedly put together. I just think a story this awesome (that had me roling around in bed trying to smother myself with my pillow to keep from laughing too loud) deserve an equally awesom ending. Some wrighters like and welcome cc, I usually don't give it, and I hope you don't mind it or take it the wrong way. Just know I just found your story that awesome I just wanted to give you pointers on how it could be even awesome-er. I know that isn't a word, but it should be! :3 |
ninjafujoshi chapter 10 . 9/16/2012 I have to admit, the last past of this chapter made me tear up a bit. |
chibi heishi chapter 14 . 7/26/2012 lol... poor Mokuba. Has to wake up and freak out not knowing where big brother is, when there are bags on the floor proving he had come home at some point. |
Knocks chapter 14 . 7/23/2011 I enjoyed reading this. Thank you for not giving up on the story! |
x-Guitar-x-Girl-x chapter 14 . 6/4/2011 I have so much love for this story 3 |
Legend of the Blue Eyes chapter 14 . 4/12/2011 I know it's been a while since you've finished this one, but I just had to comment. I wish you would somehow be able to drag out the ending portion, where Kaiba makes his trip to the US, a teensy bit longer, like by perhaps one chapter. However, to be honest, it's probably fine the way it is and I'm just being picky. Other than that, besides the odd grammar mistake here and there, the writing was impeccable and gave a light, airy feeling to this piece. The general correctness of the grammar was certainly a huge plus; I always tend to stop reading a story if the grammar and spelling is sub-par, because it becomes extremely irritating. I particularly enjoyed the cute metaphors and analogies you sprinkled all over the place; they definitely made me smile to myself at points, which is an accomplishment considering the fact that I am always expressionless when reading and, well, dealing with annoying people (haha). This story, however, definitely isn't like an annoying person; rather, it is a breath of fresh air, tinted with lighthearted humor that brightened my day. I also particularly enjoyed the section where instant noodles are referred to as "the food of life." Being an East Asian person, any comical mention of instant noodles is bound to make me smile, particularly when it reminds me of my childhood, or even my current state (I am also a university student). All in all, you did a wonderful job on a story that warrants re-reading. Hopefully, you'll give us an encore sometime in the future. |
killing u with umbrellas chapter 14 . 1/11/2011 loved it. |
