Hi. Lauren here. I hope you're doing well. There are not enough words I could use that would describe how wonderfully you wrote this story. I could hear Lucy's voice narrating each entry and the emotions in it as she did so. It was really amazing and sad as well. The Good Fight, The Domino Heart and All in the Family made me cry. How the Knight Saved Christmas had me on the edge of my seat, but I was happy with how things turned out in the end of that episode.

This is an amazingly powerful story. As always, you've captured the very soul of the characters. I wouldn't be surprised if Lucy had written a journal just like this one. Wonderful idea, brilliantly written. Kudo.

I don't normally read much ER fanfic, but I've read your works, Shirl, and have been deeply impressed. You're a very talented author and write from Carter and Lucy's points of view with great understanding and skill. This was heart-rending; the final entries, both Lucy's and Sobriki's, were each sad and disturbing in their own ways. Well, I suppose I'm rambling. Just wanted to let you know how much I've enjoyed your fanfics, and that I hope to see more from you in the future. :)

I'm not sure if I've reviewed this before, but I don't remember reading it, so WOW this was really really good. Especially the end when John found Paul's writing in Lucy's diary. That was a magnificent story! :)
