I have to say that I have throughly enjoyed this. It's an interesting concept that hasn't been tackled seriously in fanfic...what would a self-aware Haruhi do with her powers? It certainly makes you wonder. Kyon is perfect. Sarcastic and biting, even when infinite timelines are at stake. And this is terrible, I know, but I love 783rd (or did you purposefully put the "th"?) Variant Haruhi. It's something about her...perhaps her ruthlessness, her planning, or her absolute ease of her powers. I'm not sure. Well done all around. I hope that school gives you a break for a while and keep up the fantastic work!

A bit complicated to understand, but overall... an extremely good read.

At first, I was curious, just browsing to find some good Haruhi fics. Your introduction held much potential, and the further I read, the more you piqued my interest.

Then you'd written;

And you floored me.

Some great action here, and in future chapter as well, it seems.

I think you're overdoing it with references to other animes and games and whatnot. I mean, it's ok to borrow things from other anime, but Kyon mentioning other anime is not. It's cool once, but such things lose their effect when used repeatedly. Besides, I'd rather read descriptions made by your own words, with all actual sources mentioned separately in "Author's note" section.

Now that I've started watching Fate/Stay Night (thanks for introducing me btw XD), I can finally understand your reference at the end of the previous chapter :p. And I also realise you're quite obsessed with Saber, be it the name, person, or word :p.

And something I should have commented on when it first came out. The rubix cube is fun! XD. I learnt how to solve it in around two weeks (just before you started your fic tho, and certainly before the cube appeared) and now am quite ok with solving it :p. You can learn the whole process online too, if Kyon had bothered to search XD.

Btw, the scimitars, were they Archer's primary weapons? That's what I seemed to get the impression of.

In the meantime, I'm curious on how much time 'dying' would delay Haruhi 738 by...

I sympathize whith Kyon; never had the patience the solve one of those damned things myself.

"Brad Pitt." Along with the Dowsing Haruhi chapter, this just made me stop breathing from laughter.

I just took note, you're really good at writing fight scenes. I loved the Exacalibur references(I've read a lot of English history, mostly Celtic lore and Druids.)

Once again, this chapter is gold. I anticipate the next chapter (judging by the preview, it sounds exciting. What FPS game could it be?). I'm a bit saddned by the fact that it may take some time for you to write it, but good writing takes a lot of time, so every chapter that gets posted up here is worth it.

You've got the "Livin La vida Loca" song stuck in my head now.

Once more, bravo for yet another great chapter. This story is an impressive, impressive piece of work that never ceases to amaze me. Once more, bravo.

lol at all the Fate/Stay Night references. And I applaud you for probably being the best SHnY writer in this site.

This was good, only complaint being that some of Kyon's explanations (like about Caliburn and Excalibur) broke the flow of the story.

I'm very much looking forward to the next chapter, lots of action it seems :) I wonder how Brezhnev's gotten a hold of two future gunships (surely the time travellers wouldn't just let him).

As for my speculations, I'm going to say that Brezhnev believes that Saber can eliminate Haruhi once and for all (as in, eliminate their powers, meaning they no longer need to keep a very close eye on her). That's assuming he's the bad guy, which seems increasingly likely :)
