This, THIS, is a perfect example of why I prefer fanfics to published works. In just a few hundred words, if that, you have created another universe that promises adventures untold and incredible world-building, that hints at forgotten truths and astounding secrets. This reads like the beginning of an epic series that would capture the minds and dreams of readers for decades to come, not a one minding an encyclopedic-length adventure. A series that we still know is not to be, purely for the fact that it is written here, in a fan fiction site, over ten years ago, with no further additions and that last, damning line. *Finite Incatatem* |
