You have done a marvelous job on so many levels and I hope you continue the story - I want to keep reading it! In particular, you've done a lovely job capturing the language and cadence of the era. I almost felt as if I was reading Bronte. I also appreciate that you didn't let the story digress into a modern bodice ripper as so many sequels do (I can think of a couple to Pride and Prejudice).
