Not only has this story been on my fav list for months, I read (and loved) it before even JOINING . It made me laugh harder than anything I've read on this site, the writing is gorgeous, and you built up to the punch line(s?) PERFECTLY. That mental image at the end...oh dear god. Comedic gold, Twinings. :-)

Although I somehow doubt that Batman wouldn't have been able to track Crane down, especially as he was, I find it HIGHLY entertaining and therefore can't say I mind. ;) Very amusing, and a delightfully hilarious image at the end there. I really liked the last line.

"If he could make fear toxin, he could make soup." It was exactly here that I knew - absolutely knew - that it was all going to go downhill from there. The ending was O Henry-esque and utterly brilliant. It's a rare day we see the Bat in your fic but you handled him and his humiliation so very well. Nicely done.
