I'm sort of confused as to what game they were playing originally but the ending was really sweet.

either my slow brain or something, but I was a bit confused at first and I had to read it over and over again to understand what Bakura was saying. Either way, I think I get it now, and it's extremely heartwarming! And though it may be your personal buisness, I think it was very sweet of you to write a fic for your girlfriend.
