People never seem to give enough thought to how hard it must be for someone like Draco, who has spent his entire life being indoctrinated by Voldemort's dogma, and who idolizes his father to such a degree, to turn his back on everything he's ever known. I found myself growing fond of your Draco, and by the end I was painfully glad that he was, as you put it, "finally free". If I had to bring up one minor quibble, it would be that Harry was a bit too perfect, too willing to forgive and forget, but in a fic of this length it doesn't amount to much of a complaint. I liked it; chocolate please? :3

Oh my gosh. What a wonderful read that was. The story itself, the dialogue, the narration… everything was in mint condition.

I do appreciate your writing in present-tense verbs, as it made the narration twice more potent than it could ever be with just plain past-tense narration. It has the general feel of being ‘real’ and ongoing, and that is a good thing.

The characterizations for Harry and Draco, I found a little too soft to be natural. Draco especially. He feels somewhat weak in the rather feminine aspect, and it’s sort of going a bit overboard. Towards the end, he completely loses his Slytherin qualities, which I think is what makes Draco up.

But the way you write makes up for it. I easily fall in love with fics that have good English in spelling and grammar, more so with writing and presentation of ideas. There is just something about your simple wordings that end up maximizing the impact of the statements. It’s really good.
