What a story! I can't believe how good this was. Seems like the top quality DBZ fanfics were written years ago, this being one of them.
I love your writing style. Kept me very glued to every word. The plot was great, your voice for Vegeta and Bulma was phenomenal! I wish Toriyama had your skills for writing the relationship between Vegeta and Bulma and their little adorable family. I also really loved your author's notes. I found myself agreeing to everything you wrote, mainly to Ch. 3's AN. Very insightful and made me understand and love Vegeta even more.

Although I would've loved a full chapter of Bra's health and more interactions between Vegeta and Bulma and Trunks with his baby sister, I understand this story is mostly about Vegeta's growth as a character and how far he'd go to protect his family. I love me some evil Vegeta but Vegeta the protective father and husband is my kink. You did such a fine job on this. I can't tell you enough. I know it's been a while since this fic was posted but thank you for writing it.

I'm not a very sensitive person but when Bulma said, "We're going to lose the baby," I started tearing up. I can hear her saying those words and it's heart breaking. She fought for this child, and Vegeta has grown into the idea of another child and has been hands-on since day 1, and to think that they'd lose her, something Vegeta feared from the very beginning, is devastating. Now I KNEW you weren't about to kill off this baby (imagine all the backlash from anger fans you'd be getting) but these tiny thoughts keep popping into mg head like, what if the author does kill Bra? What if there's a twist and this baby isn't actually Bra but a child BEFORE Bra? What if Bulma dies of childbirth instead? Hahaha. Just so many "what ifs" running through my mind. Something about this fic is so unpredictable, my imagination can't help but run.

Vegeta was amazing here. Honestly, you wrote both his and Bulma's emotional states in this difficult, scary time so perfectly. They're in-character. They're both believable. The entire situation felt real and everything flowed naturally. It's hard not to feel for these two. Vegeta doing everything he can for his baby girl melt my heart: his thoughts on how to keep her strength up and how careful he was not to give too much; his thoughts on her size and appearance. I got goosebumps all over from so much feel! I can't explain it. I'm just so mind-blown by your descriptive writing. Aww. Alright. Next chapter.

I was shaking my head in disapproval the entire conversation between Bulma and the kidnapper Andrew. The ramifications of his actions didn't really hit me until now when Bulma is practically begging him to let her go because something is wrong with the baby and he's too far gone to listen. I'm disgusted by him. I take back my words and sympathy for this man. Now he's gone and shot Bulma. Oh, boy. Vegeta is gonna kill him.

That was a really great insight into Vegeta and Bulma's argument about the pros and cons of having another child. The thing I love the most was that even though it was mostly dialog, still I could easily picture the scene around the words you used as if you did write it out. I also really loved Vegeta's dramatic entrance over Bulma getting a bit startled. He's so cute but I bet he's driving himself crazy with worries over every move Bulma makes. Poor guy.

OMG, this story is so good! It's so interesting to read it from this man's perspective too. I'm starting to feel that he's just a unfortunate soul who made a really bad choice when he decided to make deals with these dangerous hoodlums and now, not only does he have to answer to them but he has to answer to the most dangerous man of them all; Vegeta. I can't help but feel a little bad despite his continued bad decision-makings. He just seems like he was once a really good, harmless guy. Heck, from the way he describes the interactions between the Brief family, he's practically innocent.

Aside from that, I love Vegeta and his personal ways of showing he caring side. I loved his reaction when he couldn't feel Bulma's ki and the meaning behind why he demanded she destroyed her ki device made me squeal like an overly excited teenage girl, which I did internally because I am a grown woman, damnit.

"Viva la No Dentists." What a witty little fellow. Hahaha.

Oh, man. Scary Vegeta. I love it. Your writing is great and captured my full attention from the get-go. I especially love what you've done with Vegeta: not one word or action from him seemed out of character. This man who dared to kidnapped Bulma and unborn Bra is so dead, I almost feel sorry for him.

I think this is the most realistic interpretation of Vegeta's character that I've ever read. Great job!
