Rereading, again. Still love it! You do an excellent job with these characters, I love how you differentiate the twins and Aravis' relationships with both.

This was so sweet! I had a smile on my face the entire time I was reading. I love the way you write Corin, and the line "Your joy is the delight of my eyes" is a very apt way to describe love. Aravis's realization was excellent, and I really liked the way you wrote Lucy as well. All in all, a job well done.

The only objection I would have to the perfection of this fic are the typos at the end - use 'her' for Hwin and 'Cor' for Cor :) At first I was nonplussed at the idea of Aravis beating Cor with her shoe - but considering their history, it is not so far-fetched. And the idea of Cor expecting that Aravis likes his brother better is fabulous (though I dislike the idea of Corin/Lucy). May we all meet the delight of our eyes - and, like Cor, may they be good enough to seek after us even if we do not realise it.

Jolly good story I should say and this is a very good tale indeed and also it made me wonder if this could be a side tale to Horse and his a boy. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!

What a lovely story! I enjoyed your writing style as well as all the little misunderstandings that wove through the whole thing.

"a brave heart, even if it was hidden under common bearing" I especially liked that like. Aravis hasn't quite shed her pretentious ways, but she's come a long way to admit it so easily.

The storytelling lesson was such a neat idea :) Too bad it got interrupted right away! I was hoping to see the "finished" version of how to tell the story.

Of course Cor thought that Aravis was falling in love with Corin! :) And of course he'd rather sulk than confront her about it. Fortunately, Aravis is there to beat him with slippers :)

Aaaw! Sooo sweet!

Really, really loved this. Not a hopeless romantic, but wanted something to continue the Aravis/Cor story afterwards, as HHB is my favourite book :) I think both Cor and Aravis are believable and true to what evidence was given of their characters in the book. I tried to read a few other Cor/Aravis fanfics but they simply didn't measure up to this, I really liked it and it would be so awesome if you could do more, I find that this storyline seems almost like it could be real. I loved both of your fics on this pair :)

I have to say, that line from the book is most probably my favourite in the entire series, and I love reading fics based around that sentence. My opinion has not changed upon reading this :) I adore it, they are so cute and Cor is so sweet.

This is the second time I've read this story, and just like the first time I enjoyed it so much! The characterizations are brilliant, consistent, and distinct. This was a complex, not-so-typical love story. And you managed to make it a oneshot!

"O my brother, the sun appears dark in my eyes when you wallop me in the tiltyard." This made me laugh so much. And the mental picture of Aravis beating Cor with her slipper was fantastic.

Oh, humans, what silly creatures we are when it comes to love. I'm not sure who's more thickheaded, Cor for not realising that Avaris was in love with him, or Avaris for not realising that Cor was flaming with jealousy. A very sweet one-shot. And Corin...well. Corin's just so Corin-y, and he really compliments the story by adding light and his silly humour to the tale. I liked the little Corin-in-love-with-Lucy fling, because it's so very cute, even if he probably doesn't have a chance. There's not enough Avaris/Cor in the books, and I'm glad you took a look at their relationship and decided to expand on it. Thanks for posting!
