awww man, this is so sad, but so true. poor kakashi, he must be cursed...he had to endure so much pain, but that's what made him the Kakashi we know now. And we don't think he is unworthy.

You have an unbelievably delicate hand at writing angst. You push the envelope just enough to make all these emotions bleed through an almost flat and factual way of describing the scene. It's like watching rain drip through a cracked window. God, it's magnificent. It makes me want to buy a Kakashi plushie just so I can hug the stuffing out of him. *sniffle*

I absolutely love this. Honestly, you bring insights to Kakashi's past and his motives and his thoughts and basically everything about it is great. It's written in this sort of depressing, "just-a-part-of-life" tone with like, raw and straight up truth - exactly the way I could see Kakashi explain it. Actually, not exactly the same way, but the only way.

I've through all three of the chapters you've posted... and it's a shame you haven't updated more recently... but we're all guilty of starting something without finishing it... My favorite was the first piece. I think it embodies every aspect of the Kakashi we very rarely see in the canon Naruto series. Your style is both simple and complex; easy to understand but also better to convey emotion. Thank you for sharing this.
