Love the story from beginning to end

Allow me to apologize for both any mistakes or errors as typing on my phone is like herding cats - amusing, but irritating. Also, if it seems like I'm fangirling at any point in this, its most likely because I've finally found not only this story but the (insanely) brilliant author behind it.
When I first discovered this site back in 2005/2006, I was going through difficulties in school: growing up in the south, there were kids like me who were closeted for fears of being homeless or even sent to camps in hopes of being 'cured.' School, while not as bad as others in the area I grew up in, had the local mentality that anything 'other' was to be ostracized completely or in some cases made to conform with the rest of the 'mob mindset.'
So when I found this site, I was thrilled - because there were nerds/geeks/dorks/ect. like me who goofed off and wrote stories about favorite characters in what-if situations. At first, I was overwhelmed so I clicked in a random story - this one. I remember reading this after school, and just thinking to myself 'this is one of the most sweetest and heartwarming things I've seen.' While kids in my class were talking about Romeo & Juliet's "epic" love-story, I was waiting for school to be over to finish reading this!
I wanted to say thank you, from the bottom of my heart. Your stories got me through some of the toughest peroids of my life growing up. You inspired me to write better and get better at reading when before I couldn't care less about the subject. So thank you, you magnificent (wonderful) lunatic.

This was really cute though I agree sad for past shego, wish she had had a few more years with her Kimmie and I expected a little more detail on Cynthia mourning her as her other mother. I really adored this story tho thank you

Ten years have gone by since this story was published, but I just finished reading it and wish to tell you that I absolutely loved it-from start to finish. It took my breath away. It made me smile, it made me laugh, and it made me cry. Such a heart-touching tale to wholly express the beautiful dynamic of Kim and Shego; giving justice where it's due through fanfiction work like this story of yours. I know that I will remember it forever, my friend. It's with a heavy sense of pride and nostalgic yearning that it's been added to my top three KiGo stories (and I've read my fair share of them).

Thank you, for sharing this with the world. This series and these two characters will forever hold a special place in my heart. Just like the joys and memories of my childhood. Godspeed.

Ok, look, if you're going to have marital cheating in this... I don't like it. KiGo is something I can generally go for- I don't ride the ship but I don't care enough to sink it. Breaking marriage vows is something I'm not a big fan of, though.
