This fic is just...so problematic

Holy fuck what the fuck.

I don't mean to be too rude, and I'm not sure how old you were when you wrote this or if you take any criticism but.

You brushed over SO many problematic topics here. Including (but not all being) rape, thoughts of forcing another to sexually pleasure you, SPEAKING to OTHERS of taking advantage of someone. The whole entire situation with Russel, seriously what the fuck was that whole arc. And just- so much.

This was a really hard fic to read, which is really disappointing considering the premise sounded really interesting.

I'm sure by now maybe you'll look back on this and see the mistakes but, I still hope you have a great morning, Author.

Nice Happy ending. So Roy had to say it out loud to him? Oddly specific. Faving this!

it annoys me that people thought (or maybe still do think) you stole this. your plot if based on the myth of a genie in a bottle/lamp, you can't help that someone also based there story on the same myth.

that would be like claiming someone stole your story simply because they both had mermaids in... if they are both based on the same legend/fairytale/myth then theres going to be similarities. can't be helped.

lol sorry for the rant, people just make me mad sometimes.

I have seen this storyline before on FFN under Gundam Wing called the Medallion. The author set a pretty high bar. I will be interested to see your take on it.

Yay! This story was so darn cute! I love, love, loved all of it! So sweet and it was such a traditional fairy tale but new!
Btw, I love Beauty and the Beast! It is my all time favorite fairy tale so I loved how you slipped in a reference to it!
I liked how you worked the automail into the modern setting. The Jean x Russ pairing was cute and I absolutely loved the way you wrote AL!

That was probably the most original FMA fanfic I've read so far (and I've read some...'unique' stuff..) Frankly, it was adorable and thank you for not making Russe ll evil in the end, 'cause I just can't stand the thought of him being a rapist. :( But it worked out! The Russell/Havoc pairing was unexpected, but cute nonetheless. It came as a surprise to me when you mentioned in an AN that you come up with this as you go, because I have seen one or two authors take FOREVER planning out every little detail for their fics and it still doesn't come out quite as good as this one. Anyway, I loved this story and will be checking out some of your other fics. Great job :)
