Reviews for Nine Lives
Guest chapter 10 . 3/6/2017
Great story! A sequel would be nice.
James Birdsong chapter 10 . 9/26/2015
Excellent story. Wonderful
Malady Pond du LesHeuresRoses chapter 10 . 8/20/2014
That was beautiful. I love it when a crossover makes perfect sense like this. Each revelation had me chuckle with delight because it fit. (Alfred's a Watcher? Aha! Yes!)

Absolutely brilliant!
highlander348 chapter 10 . 4/11/2014
Great story! I had a question for you that I hope you answer. Will there ever be a sequel to this cool story? I was curious. Hope to hear from you soon. Take care!
Lorca chapter 10 . 11/26/2013
God, I so want to see the immortal Batman.
I wonder how he would deal with his "no killing rule," and how his first trainer reacts to his skill.
dreameralways chapter 10 . 12/12/2011
Bruce was adopted? Well, he'd certainly make an interesting immortal but I honestly don't think he'd last that long. He's an even bigger boyscout than Duncan. He'd tick off the wrong someone and be killed. Lovely story though. I love the idea of Cat as Cassandra. I imagine that it will be weird for Bruce when he dies and gets to learn the truth and that Alfred actually knew all along. And I wonder how Superman would respond to the Game. Once he knew what was going on, would he still try to stop and interfere with duels, convinced of his moral superiority? Or would he end up in a much deeper quagmire of what was right and wrong in this instance.

Anyway, lovely story and thanks for writing it.
Murazor chapter 10 . 3/16/2011
Quick read, self-contained story and a crossover that stays solid. I cannot ask for much more.
carthae chapter 1 . 1/29/2011
Excellent story. I didn't recognize Cassandra (thought it was Amanda/Catwoman at first). I liked how the different protagonists worked together to bring down Ramizez...
Sayoko Bizen chapter 10 . 3/28/2010
Superman and Batman rendered absolutely clueless. I can almost hear Cat saying "Hear me roar!" Hahaha! Excellent, Rowland. Keep 'em coming!
Sayoko Bizen chapter 2 . 3/28/2010
This is wonderful! Yes, I was starting to think about how Cassandra looked awfully similar to Cat and voila! You mentioned it at the end. I love this! Thanks for sharing!
mountainelements chapter 9 . 1/30/2010
"it was one of the talents that had kept her alive for five thousand years." Just a minor issue, but Cassandra is 3 thousand while Methos is 5 thousand. I definitely would like to read the sequel, if you ever write one.
Princess613 chapter 10 . 12/17/2009
Do more like this. Please? I'm begging here.
a-delacroix chapter 10 . 10/24/2009
Excellent story. It seems like this is the first interesting, well-written story I have come across in awhile. So many stories have an interesting sounding premise, but then are so badly written I give up after only a couple of chapters.

You did a great job of capturing the 'feel' of Lois and Clark - or at least what I remember, as I haven't watched it in many years. Using Cat the way you did was a fun way of integrating the two story lines.(And I loved the Colby's reference! Since Tracy and Adrian were both on it, a Highlander-Colby x-over could be intriguing. Of course, ninety percent of the readers probably have no recollection of 'The Colbys'.)

I enjoyed the couple of twists and turns you threw in at the end. Not wanting to shout out a spoiler, just let me say I wish you had included a line explaining how a pre-Immortal ended up with a watcher. Which immortal tipped the watchers to his existence?

I'll admit, my tastes generally run more towards the action genre than to the 'whodunit' mystery genre. It would have been fun if you had included a little more Superman action or a more extended sword fight sequence, but that's just me. It was an excellent story and I can see lots of potential story lines for a sequel, which is the true indication of how much I enjoyed this story.

Nice plotting, cute ending.
Isis the Sphinx chapter 10 . 9/7/2009
The end of this just had me laughing my head off simply because of the whole mess they're in and some of them have no idea. Absolutely brilliant.

Keep writing!
