A little out of character towards the end. Just the hand-grabbing part. Other wise, it's pretty good. : )

I watched the BBC "The Silver Chair" too. We have the CD. When I was reading the story, I imagined Camilla Power(who played Jill Pole) and David Thwaites(played Eustace). Yes, the height also amused me.

This story was lovely :) I have to admit that I always thought that the BBC got it wrong, because in TLB Eustace actually points out how little Jill is, but it was lovely inspiration for a fic. :D

I think I'd have to agree with the person who said that the description of the dance is quite American, but other than that I liked it.

I want to watch 'The Silver Chair' again.

I thought this was amusing in a *very* sweet way D I also love the BBC movies, especially the Silver Chair...Jill is one of my fave charries.

I also have the BBC video. The only problem I have with the Eustace in it is that he should have black hair, not blonde. But there still very good.

I thought your story was well written and Jill was very in character. I too love the BBC SC, and I thought the actors were great in it. I was a little confused by the story, because I don't know if Eustace would still put up with being teased after his time in Narnia, and if it takes place pre-SC, then I don't know if Experiment House would have a dance. Regardless, it was a fun read and this site needs more SC fics. Good job!

This was a cute little fic, I've seen the BBC version and loved it too. Poor Eustace is short, but I think he grows up and taller in the Last Battle. I'm not sure if they would have had dances or not at thier school, but it was an interesting way to bring up the topic of Eustace's and Jill's height.

Of course your description is more an American high school dance than anything that would have happened in a British school ofthe fifties, but the atmosphere between the two of them isdone very nicely. And we really need more Jill/Eustace fics around here!

Aw.. How sweet. I always luff Eustace/Jill stuff, and this was a very cute way to write about it. In the books, is he really said to be shorter than her? I couldn't remember; It's been a while since I've read The Silver Chair or The Last Battle.
