I like it! One of the reasons I think the Xavier/Magneto pairing is so interesting is because they are so different(which is the same reason I like Harry/Draco and Ron/Draco in Harry Potter fanfiction), and I like that you made that a central theme. I usually read longer stories, but I liked this one. I think it's good when read as a poem. Also, I think it's sweet that you wrote it to convince your mom that the pair would work. That's so cool. First fic I'd ever read for this couple, so you've definetly made another convert besides your mom ;) At first I thought it might hold together better if you hadn't split it up into chapters - they're so short, after all, and I thought it made the conclusion seem a bit abrupt - but I don't know. I think it kind of adds a sense of action or change to the story, more than just part breaks would, hard to describe... But in any case, you've got the gift, keep on writing! Sugoi-desu (so great) _
