From the first chapter I knew I was going to enjoy this. Absolutely fabulous! I cannot wait to get to chapter 2. I love your use of literary metaphors and the way you build tension. The introduction involving not messing with dad was great too.

I don't know if you'll get this, but I'm writing it anyway, as you've been on my Favorites list for over a decade now and I hope you know you're still being read on this website. This story touches me so much-you've captured one of those magical moments of youth that we've all had and forgotten, and I'm grateful for the memory. What a beautiful fic!
