ObsidianPhantom chapter 1 . 9/14/2017 I have no words. I have only feelings that I can barely articulate. I'm speechless, unsettled, caught in a morbid state of awe, horrified, repulsed, mesmerized... The emotions in this were intense and intimate and sharp. I feel like reading this is the same as holding a sword by its blade. The sight of the blade is beautiful but keeping the grip is painful. This piece is haunting, its not even bittersweet to me really. It's just... not quite sad, but tragic? Like a greek tragedy. I feel like Melpomene wrote this or something. Lol! It reminds of something H. P Lovecraft would write. XD |
whitealmond chapter 1 . 11/4/2014 Loved the description of her bankai. I'd always hoped Tobiume would be a firebird of some sort ;) |
RainKrystal chapter 1 . 3/23/2011 So excellent. Amazing pairing, amazing moment, amazing perspective. |
uhuhuhuhuhuhu chapter 1 . 3/23/2011 Oh, this is so beautiful. May I just say, I adore your AiHina fics- they are the best. Really. I can't believe this got so few reviews, geez. Okay: I love how their emotionally damaged profile is reflected in a very, very beautiful way. I can see this happening. The details are perfectly put, such as .. his hands shaking, her wondering if she dreamt it.. Heartbreakingly wonderful. I'm addicted to your writings, damn you . |
demoneyeskyo86 chapter 1 . 6/24/2007 wow...just wow! i really enjoyed reading this. i especially like the ending, wonderfully written. great job! |
Aeris888 chapter 1 . 7/8/2006 You have made me a fan of the pairing, damn you! XD This is heartbreakingly beautiful. I don't know how you do it, but you do it well. Not many writers can pull off a realistic portrayal of Aizen and Hinamori; your fanfic gives rise to vivid, legitimate and honest emotion. Nothing in your stories ever feels fraudulent or forced. I've been reading a lot lately, and even though the characters in those stories *act* in a fashion that should be emotive, the actual reader reaction is transient and passive. You make the reader involve themselves. And that is a feat, believe me. To think you only have two reviews, WTF? I have so much more I want to say, words just keep failing me now. Just, more AizenxHinamori, please? |
Qualia Des chapter 1 . 5/30/2006 Mhm...angst. Very AizenHina. XD Love it! |
Jedi Boadicea chapter 1 . 4/21/2006 Hooray for unhealthy obsession! I mean, without it, I wouldn't get to read these great stories by you! And without it, I would actually get sleep, and get to work on time, and actually do my work at work instead of writing Captain and Vice Captain timelines to accomodate Hitsugaya's past on scrap paper behind my computer, and do something else on a Friday night other than re-watch Soul Society episodes that I've already seen a hundred times while frantically refreshing all of the Bleach fansites wondering where the heck the scanlations of chapter 224 are and... erm... yeah... hooray for obsession! But definitely hooray for getting another story from you. :) First of all... with very few words, you created a sudden and very vivid image of a bankai for Hinamori in my mind. And though the possibility of her attaining bankai in the near future is probably up for debate, I confess that I would *love* to see it. The plum in Tobiume's name has always conjured up blossom images for me, but then Tobiume *does* spit fireballs when Hinamori is pissed, and a sort of merging of that flower feeling with all that fire definitely makes for quite a striking image. " He cannot explain his displeasure and eventually dismisses it as irrelevant." Yeah, you do that, Aizen. My my... could this be a FLAW in your LOGICAL brain at last? Heheh.. "Why did you..." she begins, dangerous words dangling on her lips, and for both their sakes he cuts her off with a kiss that borders on violent. Yeah, you don't won't to finish that question. Because he'll of course deny that he saved you... which he didn't, really... and do you really want to hear an answer that has something to do with being used, or with need being slaked, or any other number of things that will ultimately still end in no-win situations? Man, you're making me revel in the ANGST. But this was definitely a fun think to read on a Friday. I just watched the episode closing with Hinamori, Matsumoto, and Ise meeting Shuuhei under fireworks, and it made me think of A Series of Firsts, so the evening is full of nice coincidences. And YAY for a big chapter of ASOF! I can't wait! |
