This is so beautifully written! As an avid reader of both JRR Tolkien's works and JK Rowling's, the premise of this story is a dream come true. To have such a strong passion as to be able to 'pull-out' a beloved character from a book... its every reader's wish.

Every chapter kept me on my toes and really made me puzzle out how Finrod got to Hogwarts. The moment I realized the reason and the possible consequences... I must confess my heartbreak. I feel really sad, but I also know that the ending is right. Changing the outcome will surely affect the whole story. And who's to say that everything will be alright.

Thank you so much for writing this. I love it so much. And despite the unavoidable sorrow, I'm glad that Finrod got to enjoy this alternate life, if only for a limited time. He influenced so many lives... as befitting of the nature of Elves.

The best thing, I think, about this story is the believable ending, and how Finrod managed to influence quite a few people despite his short stay, especially Remus.

Okay so I was half expecting him to be the werewolf, but I wouldn't have liked that ending, I don't think. This one was much better. Navaer.

I haven't chanced upon seeing the date of when this story was published, but it is the year 2020 now, ad yes, there is still one who faithfully reads this story!

not sure if you're around any more, but I want you to know that I read this for the first time when I was really new in fandom, and it popped into my head of its own volition recently. it's been years but it was easy to find, the title has always stuck with me. this story blew me away then, and it's wonderful still - thank you!

That's last sentence is such a nice one. (And the story is still lovely upon rereading.)

An ingenious and logical conclusion to a great story!

Finrod's dialogues seem to come straight out of the Silmarillion! You have an excellent style of writing.

Nice chapters! But how did Hermione immediately reach the conclusion that she had conjured Finrod from her imagination? I'm sure she would think the name Finrod is odd, and a bit too much of a coincidence, but to immediately imagine that she had conjured him seems... unrealistic?

Hello! This is a great story. A delightful blend of two of my most favorite works.

With this story you succeeded in doing that which few fan-fiction writers do; you made me suspend my disbelief and trust you. Also, you managed to actually finish your story with a good and believable ending. Thank you for granting me these few hours of respite from reality! Oh, and kudos for knowing your Tolkien lore so well.
