That was beautiful! You placed some wonderful pictures here and then, but they didn't seem like you were trying to be awesomely creative and have your story extremely beautifully written. All these beautiful little details seem so fluidly set and placed, it is wonderful. It resembles the film to me, while being simple-pictured and not too beautiful, there is a beauty in certain lights or perspectives and all - in short, your fic just resembled the original Matrix-style to me, and that I adore.

I also liked describing the same scene in two POVs, especially when Neo thinks she's so confident of herself and her trust in him and is thinks in awe of her while her thoughts are pretty much like thinking about her female instincts and wishes and how they do not really resemble the image she's created herself (I loved the part about showing Neo the good sides in life and then realizing she doesn't know real happiness herself yet). The difference in their feelings towards each other is well-thought and well-brought up.

Oh...wow. You're an unbelievably good writer. You got the characterisations down perfectly, and it flowed so well. I loved The Last Exile when it was first up, and it's so good to see you posting again.

Now I see what happened behind the scenes... perhaps I know too much... yeah, I know I'm weird. All I can say is: I love it. I know how hard it is to describe the feelings of characters who, essentially, aren't you (God do I know...) *winks left blue eye*, and you've done a really good job with that here. Congrats! :)
