Aw, totally in character! I love it!

Oh, this was brilliant! So very in-character! I SO want more! So many people who attempt writing about this relationship (and especially what happens after this particular scene) CLEARLY don't have a firm grasp on how these people would react. YOU do, and I'd love to read a sequel to this!

I think that's what so romantic about this story...The fact that Eliza makes Henry feel things. One of my friends said he married his current wife, because she made him ANGRY...and it was exhilirating. What a lovely story!

That was a nice look into the professor's mind. Good idea putting his soliloquy/solo into your own words. I liked it!

I like it! What I love about this one is that it's not overly-romantic. He doesn't go OOC. He only accepts his flaws to a point.

I love the part whereby he ponders that he didn't think to ask where she came from during the six months. That's an original idea. Also, it hones in on Higgins' lack of security in the way that he comments on how Eliza apparently brings out the worst in him. That's a very perceptive analysis - Higgins delving within himself, rather than just complaining about the source of his misery.

Your writing is a unique way of going about a commonly written fanfiction. It'd be very interesting to see you expand it into the reunion scene, and see what you make of that. By modulating Higgins' stance very carefully, you could make something sensational out of this.
