There actually is a discrepancy in the number of Skittles. I've done the research, and it always turns out that there are more of a certain color than the others. I can't remember which color at the moment, but I'm pretty sure that it was red.

So, uh. I don't even know if this account is active anymore. But I wanted you to know that I found this fic back in like 2008, and I've remembered it ever since. It's just stuck with me. Probably because of how much I love the character dynamic between these two. Just. Good job on this fic. I'm glad I could find it again.

Heh. Grammatical issues aside ("There's too many brown M&Ms,"), I can imagine this happening, right down to the staring. I think that the characterization was spot-on, particularly Queen's early cynicism.
